Choose your wallet - Bitcoin

Make your own stakebox. Ultimate beginners guide how to compile any wallet on AARCH64 (Raspbery pi and other SBC)

I contemplated to wrote this for a long time, so it's finally time.
As you know a lot of altcoins uses PoS (Proof-of-stake) way of "mining" coins. Which basically means, that you hold coins on your unlocked wallet and you are receiving stakes as a reward. This requires very little power and it can bring you a lot of rewards, at just 10W from the wall.
So first I am using latest Raspbian on RPI4B 4GB in this example.Setting up Raspbian is not part of this process since it's very well documented. I recommend to change user from pi to something else due to security concerns and you can also do other stuff just search "security Raspberry PI" and you find a lot of articles, but this is not the focus of this guide.
I know there are a lot of guides on the internet, but I am using like 5 sources, so it's compiled what other people wrote and some of my research.
I am using AnyDesk insted of SSH or VNC server, because it works it's ligthweit and it just works.
So after you see the gui of Raspbian, just launch terminal (CTRL + ALT + T) and do basic thing:
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
Than press Y and let it run, after is finished, we need to prepare so dependency packages. Since most of the wallets using Berkeley DB 4.8 we need to obtain it.
So in terminal wrote:
cd cd Downloads wget http://download.oracle.com/berkeley-db/db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz tar -xzvf db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz cd db-4.8.30.NC/build_unix ../dist/configure --enable-cxx make sudo make install
So wait unti it's finished and than you can delete files in Downloads folder in gui or use:
sudo rm -r [folder]
So next thing we need to install some libraries.
sudo apt-get install git build-essential libtool autotools-dev autoconf pkg-config libssl-dev libcrypto++-dev libevent-dev libminiupnpc-dev libgmp-dev libboost-all-dev devscripts libdb++-dev libsodium-dev
And pres y and let it run. After that another set of libraries:
sudo apt-get install libqt5gui5 libqt5core5a libqt5dbus5 qttools5-dev qttools5-dev-tools libprotobuf-dev protobuf-compiler libcrypto++- dev libminiupnpc-dev qt5-default
And then again pres y and let it run. Some wallets need older version of libssl1.0-dev, so for for safe compiling we install that as well:
sudo apt-get install libssl1.0-dev
Pres y and let it run. Warning don't use sudo-apt get autoremove, since it would wipe this package, since it's old.
Next thing we are going to obtain Bitcoin PPA filest, which can be done like this.
cd /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ sudo nano bitcoin.list
Paste this in there:
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/bitcoin/bitcoin/ubuntu artful main
And CTRL+X and than y, then do this:
sudo apt-key adv --keyserver hkp://keyserver.ubuntu.com:80 --recv C70EF1F0305A1ADB9986DBD8D46F45428842CE5E sudo apt-get update
So now we are ready for compiling. So we are going create folders. CD yourself where this folder should be situated, if you for example have plugged in some external drive. Then:
mkdir Crypto cd Crypto
And then we have to choose wallet which you want to compile. I am choosing Streamies (STRMS) as an example, since it's pretty good coin for staking. So:
mkdir Streamies cd Streamies
Then go to the github page and click on the green button on the left and click copy to clipboard, which gives you git link.
git clone https://github.com/Streamies/Streamies.git
Watch the output folder which it creates, it's stated in the first two lines and copy then by highliting the text and CTRL+SHIFT+C copy it to your clipboard.
cd Streamies (this is that git created folder) ./autogen.sh ./configure CPPFLAGS="-I/uslocal/BerkeleyDB.4.8/include -O2" LDFLAGS="-L/uslocal/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib" sudo make (this could take hours) sudo make install
And you are done, files is going to be in folder /uslocal/bin (DO NOT delete git created folder, because you are going to need it for faster compiling, when wallet get's and update.)
cd /uslocal/bin
Now you can list files by:
ls
And then you can copy/move them where ever you want by using:
sudo mv * [destination full path]
Let it run and go back to folder where you move those files.
sudo chmod +x streamies-qt (since we want to run wallet)
In most cases compiled files are going to in format of "shared library" so we need to create script to run it. Open up a text editor from gui or through nano. And paste this to that file:
#!/bin/bash ./streamies-qt
And save it as a sh file, for example run.sh. Then we need to make it runnable so:
sudo chmod +x run.sh
Now to run it, it's just:
./run.sh
And here we are glorious GUI wallet appears and you are done, you can paste blockchain, wallet.dat from other sources, so this migration is pretty easy and you, if you have it on for exaple flash disk.
So this is basic how to compile QT wallets on AARCH64. I am running 7 wallets, 2 of those are Masternodes and RPI 4B 4GB would handle way more, I am at best on half of my RAM.
Some wallets need more package, but it's not much of and issue, since compiling stops and you just copy paste nape which is missing put it in the google and add "apt-get" after the name of package and you are going to see, what is the name of the packages so it can be retreived from package assinstant aka apt-get. So basically:
sudo apt-get install [package name]
Then press y and again wrote:
sudo make
This process is going to continue where it was left off, so nothing is going to run from beginning.
Updating wallets is basically exactly same, just repeat steps from "git clone" and after that proceed as it was written above.
So I hope this helps some of you, to use this at home and not on some VPS, if you are anxious as me, to host my wallets on remote server.

HELP! OverflowError: timestamp out of range for platform time_t

Hi,
I am guessing this means Electrum Wallet is set to a particular time zone, which is not allowing me to send bitcoin. As I tried to send to the exchange and found this error popped up. This is my first time using the wallet and I have no idea how to change the time to sync.
Anyone have an idea what I can do to change it(thats is it is the time issue) so I can send to exchange.
Thanks

1️⃣GENERAL INFO1️⃣
FREEBITCO.IN can be accessed from any device with internet.
Using a VPN or a TOR is now allowed given that your account achieves certain criteria similar to a captcha free account requirements.
🛑WARNING: FREEBITCO.IN wipes inactive accounts after a certain period! If you lose interest, withdraw your BTC!
📝NOTE: iOS devices (iPad, iPhone) are restrictive. The only way to access is via website, as BitBot isn't available.📝
FREEBITCO.IN is what's called a "faucet", a site that gives a small steady stream of crypto which FREEBITCO.IN does through hourly rolls and interest accrual.
FREEBITCO.IN also hosts other means to win or earn crypto, you can gamble with Multiplier, or bet on world evens and crypto prices.
After your account reaches 30k Satoshi, you begin to collect interest. The site also offers lifetime referral commissions, explained later in this guide.
All you need to start is an email. You can add more verification options for security later on. I would highly suggest it. Use a junk email though.
2FA and MFA are strongly suggested. A password should be 15 characters long. I suggest Google Authenticator for your 2FA needs.
I know you can definitely access this site from Brave Browser with add blockers enabled. I'm sure it will work with others. Even without an ad blockers, they only advertise their site gambling and games, no 3rd party adds that I've seen. It's not too invasive or spammy either.

This post is both an advertising platform I use, and a guide I've made to help those interested to automate and optimize earnings.
For those of a cautious mindset, I've uploaded all of FREEBITCO.IN's information on interest accrual, security, and proof of mining on Imgur, in case you're worried about visiting the site.

3️⃣MY EARNINGS3️⃣
So at this point, with hourly claims and daily interest, I'm bringing in roughly 8978 Satoshi (or .70$ USD with BTC at 7804$ USD) daily at full optimization on one account, and two other self referred accounts without lifting a finger. This is before the fact that a hourly roll (claim) can reward up to a max of 200$ USD worth of BTC (percentages in section 5️⃣).
They also have a weekly lotto (tickets awarded with every roll and referral roll) with the last 1st place winner receiving .32769156 BTC (2587$ USD at current bitcoin price).
This is also not including my current commissions on accounts not owned by me. In this post I will describe some of my strategies I've incorporated, and some insight into how this website works.
To offload or withdraw bitcoin, you're going to need what is called a "wallet". I personally use Coinbase (available on mobile or desktop) as you can sell it through here as well and easily move money to Paypal or a bank.
⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹
4️⃣HOW DO COMMISSION REWARDS WORK?4️⃣
If you are already on FREEBITCO.IN, do you have someone who referred you? Do they share commissions? If not, why not make a new account and join me, where you'll get a return on everything you earn.
As you can see, large affiliate groups don't share anything, hoarding hundreds of thousands worth of BTC earned off their referrals
I share 50% of my commissions. I get 50% of your roll rewards, 25% of your interest, and 0.4% of your wagers. All of this is paid out by FREEBITCO.IN as a commission, so it's not pulled from your rewards or held BTC.
So the more you're active, the more you'll receive from me weekly (being active is doing anything that I get commissions from). IMPORTANT: Your (and all referrals) shares are based on activity, so if you are inactive for the week, you get a lower % for that week. If you're the most active of my referrals you get a higher percentage of what I share. This is to incentivize being active and to stop people from getting a cut without doing anything.
If you have FREEBITCO.IN automated, you don't have to worry about this. However, having a larger bankroll to earn interest, or playing Multiply BTC (I do not suggest playing unless doing so to meet auto roll requirements) will increase can your activity further.
Commission Structure
Here is some proof, I've actually shared about 2/3 of all commissions

📝NOTE: I've noticed when I was creating the images of commission sharing that the "RECENT" blocks are showing zero. If you look at totals from the first image, you can tell I'm actively sharing with all of my referrals.📝

5️⃣SOME CLAIM STATS5️⃣
You can earn AT LEAST .00000552 BTC (.048$) daily when automated (or claiming every hour on the hour) before bonuses (like using reward points to increase rewards 1000%). After some testing, it seems that this amount will always be about .048$ worth of BTC, base claim rewards no bonus active.
After .00030000 BTC, you accrue compounding interest at a rate of 4.08% APR, paid daily. As soon as your daily interest is accredited, it too starts earning interest. The daily interest rate comes out to ~0.011% of your total held BTC.
FREEBITCO.IN gives you a roll once every hour, free
📝NOTE: Roll rewards fluctuate inversely with BTC price. BTC goes down, roll rewards go up, vice versa. The BTC rewards USD value will be extremely close to the values represented below.📝

6️⃣MULTIPLY BTC STRATS AND INFO6️⃣
🛑!WARNING!, NO STRATEGY IS 100%, THE MULTIPLIER GAME IS GAMBLING, YOU CAN STILL LOSE YOUR WHOLE BALANCE IF YOU PUSH YOUR LUCK.🛑
UPDATE: I decided to do some research after some odd outcomes when extensively testing some of my Multiplier strats. Turns out FREEBITCO.IN does indeed have a house advantage that isn't too transparent. Longer sessions are almost always going to come out negative. If you still plan on playing, do short sessions, once daily max, with lower amounts.
There are a couple methods to play the Multiplier with a reduced risk (but still a risk) here as well. I would suggest small play sessions.
STRAT #1
My preferred settings for AUTOROLL on MULTIPLY that I've had the best success rate with to date. (preferably with .00005000 in ACCT for best results)
BET: Minimum
ODDS: 3
ROLLS: (doesn't matter, 100)
BET ON: alternate
STOP BETTING PROFIT: .00000050, important as the bets will get exponentially higher with every loss. Win in small increments.
STOP BETTING LOSS: Set a loss limit if you want, I have mine set to .00001 and haven't reached it
ON WIN: select increase bet 0%
ON LOSS: select increase bet 65%
RANDOMIZE CLIENT SEED: yes
DO NOT REFRESH: yes
Here is a pic of the settings
Anything else doesn't matter. Make sure the boxes are checked for the above options.
With this strat, I've won positive on one account, about .000077 BTC, and I've only played 5 or 6 times, at less than 2-3 minutes of play time a session.
STRAT #2
Good for accounts with a low balance. I've had a surprising amount of luck with this method, enough so that I thought I'd post it here with an update. This could work well for accounts with less than 1k Satoshi, as a losing streak wouldn't be a huge loss. For this strat, you should have at least 189 Satoshi in your account.
BET: Minimum amount
ODDS/WIN CHANCE: 189 or %0.5
ROLLS: 189 (remains the same no matter if you bet more)
BET ON: High or Low, but not Alternate.
STOP BETTING ON PROFIT: Minimum amount, once again, you want continuous small wins
UPDATE: Conducting more tests for viability
I played these settings 10 times, I came out positive 8/10 times. In the end I was positive 433 Satoshi total with selecting "hi".
On selecting "low" I went positive 5/10 losing 525 Satoshi.
On selecting "hi" and betting 10 Satoshi, I went positive 3/10 times losing 9708 Satoshi.
On selecting "high" and betting 100 Satoshi, I never went positive, 0/10. Losing 189000 Satoshi (~15$ USD).
There does seem to be a pattern of losing more when betting more. Like anything gambling, there's probably a house advantage that's not too transparent.
Win small lose small.
Pic of these settings
STRAT #3
Another strategy I've tried is betting most of my balance once occasionally with a 94.06% chance of winning. This is, eh, alright to risk OCCASIONALLY, but a loss would set you back more than you ever made using this strategy, which happened to me, I lost about 40 USD worth of BTC after making maybe 5 USD.
THIS METHOD IS GREAT FOR MEETING NON-CAPTCHA ACCOUNT REQUIREMENTS!
Playing this in auto roll, out of 20 rolls I'd always lose at least once, putting me into the negative. Even with 10 rolls, I'd more often then not lose at least once.
Pic of these settings
There are other strats out there, such as the "Martingale", which is essentially doubling the bet amount every loss, then resetting your bet to minimum after a win to in theory "win back what you lost". At 47.5% odds of winning, I've had loss streaks that would drain my account.
My summary for Multiply, use sparingly. Don't use it as your primary means of earning. Use once or twice daily, limit play sessions to 5 minutes max.

7️⃣AUTOMATION7️⃣
📝NOTE: FREEBITCO.IN captcha requirements seem to be tiered, with requirements for Captcha free upscaling when you BTC holding passes a certain threshold.
I'm currently testing, as is another team member (Shout out to u/SrExtreme69) , what exactly these thresholds, if holding at these thresholds increases the length of Captcha free rolls, and at what amount does FREEBITCO.IN no longer require these to be met.📝
📝NOTE: To start automating, remember to verify email and setup 2FA or the Captcha will still appear even if your account meets Captcha free requirements. Check the site occasionally as Captcha free roll requirements can change. After certain held BTC amount you don't need to renew your requirements. I haven't had to achieve new requirements in over a month.📝
📝NOTE: You may need to manually roll for a bit until the the ability to achieve a Captcha free account becomes available. It doesn't show at first.📝
📝NOTE: It's very difficult, if not impossible to automate on iOS devices.
First of all, getting to this point can be a grind, but once achieved you'll have a steady flow of BTC with options to increase earnings through rewards claims using RP. I would suggest going to your PROFILE tab on FREEBITCO.IN and disabling lottery to increase RP production when starting out. Using other apps or resources to supplement income is a good idea as well.
On the FREE BTC page, there is a blue text hyperlink with requirements that need to be met to make your account captcha free, thus allowing you to enable autoroll on extensions or apps. It has multiple ways to achieve this and they can change, so if your autoroll has stopped, check to see if these requirements have changed.
Here are the requirements. (Amounts vary)
It seems only two of these requirements need to be met.
The less risky and easiest method is to buy lottery tickets and bet with jackpots on. Even better is depositing bitcoin if you have that amount.
The POSSIBLY least expensive method is to bet both regularly and with Jackpots enabled on MULTIPLY (for higher amounts required, IMO Multiplier strat #3 works best)

8️⃣OPTIMIZATION AND USE OF FREEBITCO.IN8️⃣
For computers
I would suggest using Firefox, as you can add functions and tools to your bar up top. One of the being a "auto roll" for FREEBITCO.IN, still requires a "captcha free" account. Turn it on and let go, check it occasionally to make sure its still going.
Autoroll firefox add-on link
My link again for ease of access
Not my preferred method, but good for a second account, as using a computer means devoting more attention to FREEBITCO.IN in an inconvenient manner if you are just starting out. After Captcha has been removed, this becomes more hands free, but not as profitable as using bitbot, as you can't autoclaim RP rewards.
I haven't tried many methods besides using Firefox addons, as I'm wary of sources or intent when it comes to 3rd party scripts or programs. If I find any trustworthy scripts or programs, I will update here.
For Mobile
🛑BITBOT WARNING, IF YOU USE BITBOT TO ACCESS FREEBITCO.IN BEFORE USING MY REFERRAL, YOU WILL BE REFERRED THROUGH BITBOT, AND THEY DON'T SHARE COMMISSIONS AS FAR AS I CAN TELL🛑 My Link again
📝NOTE: iOS devices (iPhone, iPad) do not have access to BitBot, nor do they allow extensions/add-ons on their browsers. I have not personally found a way around this. You may still access the site and manually roll.📝
I use BitBot. This is the best place to start from IMO. You can set it to notify you of rolls and gives direct access to the site from the app (you can also access the site from any device with internet). Once your account is "captcha free" you can set it to auto roll AND automatically claim rewards every 24 hours (RP increase, BTC increase, Lottery ticket Increase).
📝NOTE: Bitbot allows auto roll from the app for accounts over 500 RP. This isn't permanent, as it uses your RP. You'll need to log onto the website through a browser to achieve captch free account requirements, which Bitbot does recognize, which allow completely free rolls.📝
📝NOTE: Accessing FREEBITCO.IN through BitBot doesn't allow access to the Hi-Lo or betting games.📝
⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹
9️⃣STRATS TO INCREASE EARNINGS9️⃣
Bitbot optimization
I started manual claims by setting roll notifications to "ON" for a while until I supplemented my BTC in FREEBITCO.IN with what I was collecting from my miner and CryptoTab. Once I was able to AUTOMATE and I had enough RP to claim the RP BONUS, I set it to do that automatically every 24 hours as this nets more RP than you spend (EG, 100 RP roll bonus costs 1200 RP, but can net 2400 RP if claimed every hour). Eventually you accrue enough RP to claim the %1000 BTC bonus, probably at a rate of once or twice a week.
My current BitBot settings now that its auto claiming, I have the 24 hour auto bonus claiming 100 RP roll bonus and 100% claim bonus, spending a total of 1520 RP, but I'm making 2400 RP with the RP bonus, leaving me 780 RP in the positive each day. Every now and then I'll stop the auto bonus claim so I can buy the 1000% claim bonus (3200 RP). So on a normal day I'll make about 1344 Satoshi. Bitbot auto bonus settings
Once your accrue more referrals, or save enough RP, it's possible to claim the 1000% BTC roll bonus multiple days in a row. This is just about as optimal as you can get for auto rolling.
Self Referrals
If you have two devices (phone and computer preferably) you can make two accounts as long as one uses a different wifi or internet connection, as the roll rewards tracks IP addresses for roll counts. So if you have 2 devices on the same network, it sudo links accounts, so if you roll on one, it restarts the timer on the other. This allows you to collect referral rewards from yourself. Effectively adding 25% of interest and 50% roll rewards.
I currently have a phone autorolling on BitBot with a computer autorolling on Firefox with a tool to roll automatically as long as the page remains open. My computer account is referred from my mobile account, and is currently bringing in an extra .000015+ BTC weekly (currently, total will be this Sunday and I will update).
I've also made another account on my partners phone, linked it with bitbot and got it auto-rolling. Once bitbot is going, its non-invasive and you can silence notifications, it also uses minimal data.
Supplementing with CryptoTab
I'll use CryptoTab on my computer 24/7 to earn BTC from that while I have FREEBITCO.IN running. I also have it running on my phone at night when I sleep and on an iPad I have that I don't use much, its server mining, so no worries about battery on mobile devices. On computers it does actually use your processing power. You can directly deposit into you FREEBITCO.IN accounts.
CryptoTab Link
I've used it for two weeks and have earned a total of .000454 BTC (3.60$ USD). Not huge, but enough to start collecting interest on FREEBITCO.IN and to get the capthca free account requirements.
Supplementing with Cointiply
🛑WARNING: Cointiply's main currency is the constant, weighted against the dollar (10,000 coin/1USD). This means your actually BTC holdings will fluctuate with BTC's price.
For this reason, it's my strong opinion that DON'T HODL in Cointiply as you're not holding actual BTC.🛑
Cointiply is a great site to earn decent amounts of COIN which translate to SAT's. Earn coin, withdraw to FREEBITCO.IN (as you actually hold BTC in cointiply).
I also use an ASIC miner (Antminer s9i, DIY liquid cooled and overclocked with BixBit firmware), and whatever I earn I'll put that into FREEBITCO.IN to collect interest. If you want, I may be willing to do a rental.
⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹⏹
1️⃣0️⃣ADVERTISING YOUR LINK1️⃣0️⃣
📝NOTE: Since this faucet has been around a while, many people privy to sites such as this are already signed up. So getting referrals can be a slog. My tips for your ads is be genuine and don't hard sell or post "too good to be true" sensational ads.📝
COINTIPLY
This is another faucet. Its structure is a bit different from FREEBITCO.IN, as you complete offers to earn coin. Within this site (also an app) users can earn coins by doing PTC ads (and other offers), this is a good method to get exposure as you can advertise as well. Using this method my traffic for last week as about 800 people.
13000 coins buys about 1000 "clicks" on your ads. They also have options to advertise to people based on location (these options will increase or decrease cost). After your first ad, you usually get a 10% off coupon good for 7 days as well.
You can earn this amount within a day doing surveys on Theorem. I've done surveys before, and this has to be one of the best surveys sights I've ever done. Very rarely do I get kicked out mid survey, and if I do, I still get partial pay.
I will also use "Hideout" on my computer and leave it running. It has to be the open tab on your browser, with the browser open, not minimized. Let it go and check it occasionally as it has a timeout at roughly 2-3 hrs idle. As of now this is the best passive method of earning on Cointiply.
PI NETWORK
Pi Network, an ICO (Initial coin offering) based on trust and social media is another good medium for advertising. I will usually see 15-20 people click on my link with 2-4 ads posted per day.
Just go to "chat", select "random" and post an ad in the chat channel. No charge.
My tip, keep your ads short to medium in length, don't spam.
XYO NETWORK/COIN APP
This is another crypto earned through "geo-mining". On the "coin" app you can do a "geodrop" where you can leave a note. Just click on the box with a parachute icon, select "any" on the "Tile" selection. Leave your ad in the "note" section.
It costs 10 "COIN" at the very least to do a "geodrop". This method may not be worth it if you aren't already involved in the program. To earn a substantial amount of coin, you'll need a subscription or a "sentinel". Sentinels can actually be purchased for under 20$ nowadays (depending on site) and is the best option to earn. Without these you'll only make approx .05-.18 coin every 30 seconds if you're actively moving.
My tips if you plan on advertising on this platform, once again keep it short, and only advertise around 7-9am and 4-6pm, as this will be peak mining hours with people driving to and from work.

Groestlcoin 6th Anniversary Release

Introduction

Dear Groestlers, it goes without saying that 2020 has been a difficult time for millions of people worldwide. The groestlcoin team would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone our best to everyone coping with the direct and indirect effects of COVID-19. Let it bring out the best in us all and show that collectively, we can conquer anything.
The centralised banks and our national governments are facing unprecedented times with interest rates worldwide dropping to record lows in places. Rest assured that this can only strengthen the fundamentals of all decentralised cryptocurrencies and the vision that was seeded with Satoshi's Bitcoin whitepaper over 10 years ago. Despite everything that has been thrown at us this year, the show must go on and the team will still progress and advance to continue the momentum that we have developed over the past 6 years.
In addition to this, we'd like to remind you all that this is Groestlcoin's 6th Birthday release! In terms of price there have been some crazy highs and lows over the years (with highs of around $2.60 and lows of $0.000077!), but in terms of value– Groestlcoin just keeps getting more valuable! In these uncertain times, one thing remains clear – Groestlcoin will keep going and keep innovating regardless. On with what has been worked on and completed over the past few months.

UPDATED - Groestlcoin Core 2.18.2

This is a major release of Groestlcoin Core with many protocol level improvements and code optimizations, featuring the technical equivalent of Bitcoin v0.18.2 but with Groestlcoin-specific patches. On a general level, most of what is new is a new 'Groestlcoin-wallet' tool which is now distributed alongside Groestlcoin Core's other executables.
NOTE: The 'Account' API has been removed from this version which was typically used in some tip bots. Please ensure you check the release notes from 2.17.2 for details on replacing this functionality.

ALL NEW - Groestlcoin Moonshine iOS/Android Wallet

Built with React Native, Moonshine utilizes Electrum-GRS's JSON-RPC methods to interact with the Groestlcoin network.
GRS Moonshine's intended use is as a hot wallet. Meaning, your keys are only as safe as the device you install this wallet on. As with any hot wallet, please ensure that you keep only a small, responsible amount of Groestlcoin on it at any given time.

ALL NEW! – HODL GRS Android Wallet

HODL GRS connects directly to the Groestlcoin network using SPV mode and doesn't rely on servers that can be hacked or disabled.
HODL GRS utilizes AES hardware encryption, app sandboxing, and the latest security features to protect users from malware, browser security holes, and even physical theft. Private keys are stored only in the secure enclave of the user's phone, inaccessible to anyone other than the user.
Simplicity and ease-of-use is the core design principle of HODL GRS. A simple recovery phrase (which we call a Backup Recovery Key) is all that is needed to restore the user's wallet if they ever lose or replace their device. HODL GRS is deterministic, which means the user's balance and transaction history can be recovered just from the backup recovery key.

ALL NEW! – GroestlcoinSeed Savior

Groestlcoin Seed Savior is a tool for recovering BIP39 seed phrases.
This tool is meant to help users with recovering a slightly incorrect Groestlcoin mnemonic phrase (AKA backup or seed). You can enter an existing BIP39 mnemonic and get derived addresses in various formats.
To find out if one of the suggested addresses is the right one, you can click on the suggested address to check the address' transaction history on a block explorer.

ALL NEW! – Vanity Search Vanity Address Generator

NOTE: NVidia GPU or any CPU only. AMD graphics cards will not work with this address generator.
VanitySearch is a command-line Segwit-capable vanity Groestlcoin address generator. Add unique flair when you tell people to send Groestlcoin. Alternatively, VanitySearch can be used to generate random addresses offline.
If you're tired of the random, cryptic addresses generated by regular groestlcoin clients, then VanitySearch is the right choice for you to create a more personalized address.
VanitySearch is a groestlcoin address prefix finder. If you want to generate safe private keys, use the -s option to enter your passphrase which will be used for generating a base key as for BIP38 standard (VanitySearch.exe -s "My PassPhrase" FXPref). You can also use VanitySearch.exe -ps "My PassPhrase" which will add a crypto secure seed to your passphrase.
VanitySearch may not compute a good grid size for your GPU, so try different values using -g option in order to get the best performances. If you want to use GPUs and CPUs together, you may have best performances by keeping one CPU core for handling GPU(s)/CPU exchanges (use -t option to set the number of CPU threads).

If you're tired of the random, cryptic bech32 addresses generated by regular Groestlcoin clients, then Groestlcoin EasyVanity2020 is the right choice for you to create a more personalised bech32 address. This 2020 version uses the new VanitySearch to generate not only legacy addresses (F prefix) but also Bech32 addresses (grs1 prefix).

ALL NEW! – Electrum Personal Server

Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server aims to make using Electrum Groestlcoin wallet more secure and more private. It makes it easy to connect your Electrum-GRS wallet to your own full node.
It is an implementation of the Electrum-grs server protocol which fulfils the specific need of using the Electrum-grs wallet backed by a full node, but without the heavyweight server backend, for a single user. It allows the user to benefit from all Groestlcoin Core's resource-saving features like pruning, blocks only and disabled txindex. All Electrum-GRS's feature-richness like hardware wallet integration, multi-signature wallets, offline signing, seed recovery phrases, coin control and so on can still be used, but connected only to the user's own full node.
Full node wallets are important in Groestlcoin because they are a big part of what makes the system be trust-less. No longer do people have to trust a financial institution like a bank or PayPal, they can run software on their own computers. If Groestlcoin is digital gold, then a full node wallet is your own personal goldsmith who checks for you that received payments are genuine.
Full node wallets are also important for privacy. Using Electrum-GRS under default configuration requires it to send (hashes of) all your Groestlcoin addresses to some server. That server can then easily spy on your transactions. Full node wallets like Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server would download the entire blockchain and scan it for the user's own addresses, and therefore don't reveal to anyone else which Groestlcoin addresses they are interested in.
Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server can also broadcast transactions through Tor which improves privacy by resisting traffic analysis for broadcasted transactions which can link the IP address of the user to the transaction. If enabled this would happen transparently whenever the user simply clicks "Send" on a transaction in Electrum-grs wallet.
Note: Currently Groestlcoin Electrum Personal Server can only accept one connection at a time.

Groestlcoin Sentinel is a great solution for anyone who wants the convenience and utility of a hot wallet for receiving payments directly into their cold storage (or hardware wallets).
Sentinel accepts XPUB's, YPUB'S, ZPUB's and individual Groestlcoin address. Once added you will be able to view balances, view transactions, and (in the case of XPUB's, YPUB's and ZPUB's) deterministically generate addresses for that wallet.
Groestlcoin Sentinel is a fork of Groestlcoin Samourai Wallet with all spending and transaction building code removed.

Weekly Update: First ParJar Pilot Class, Constellation partners with Chainlink, $BAT on 2gether, Pynk on BlockMAG... – 11 Oct - 17 Oct'19
Hi everyone! Here’s your week at Parachute + partners (11 Oct - 17 Oct'19):

The first ParJar Pilot Class is officially off to a roaring start with 5 amazing projects and their communities. Here’s to a great future. This was the perfect occasion to announce a ParJar Battle Royale for our ParJar Pilot partners. Blood will be spilled next week. Pow! ParJar now has almost 20k active users. It works in 400+ communities and has seen 400k+ transactions. Say what! Par4Par lottery entered stage 5 this week. The stakes are even higher. 250k $PAR in prizes. Dang! Reflecting on Vitalik Buterin’s observation, Cap says: “...we’ve done things in reverse here at Parachute - we grew an amazing community around exploring ideas and built our tech to meet what they needed”. What are your thoughts on buying houses for USD 1 each in an Italian town for building the Parachute village? Cap’s recommendation. Haha.
Andy’s Advent calendar. Each window is a 16.9 oz can of beer. Sweet!
We saw Tiproom become the 17th most active group on Telegram a few weeks back. Well, hold on to your pants because it is now the 12th most active group. Whoa! A big reason for the group’s constant buzz are the amazing trivias hosted by the TTR crew. This week was no different. Doc Victor’s Sunday medical trivia had 8 Qs, 3k $PAR each. This was a quiz with a twist. In Doc’s words: "..beware, in each question they will have to diagnose a case based on symptoms and signs that I will give them". Noice! Charlotte’s Tuesday Trivia had 10 questions with a 25k $PAR prize pool. Another trivia by Victor (not the Doc) had another 10 Q’s, 2500 $PAR each. Listened to the TTR theme yet? DJ Jose in da house with a rocking theme. Wicked! Congratulations to Mario for winning the pet contest in TTR. Sebastian made a compilation video of all the entries. Awww!
Let’s see if Cap’s guerrilla marketing at Burger Joint in NYC gets us a new Parachuter
Victor’s Friday trivia at aXpire was the usual 10 Q, 100 $AXPR per Q affair. And like always, super duper fun! If you missed news from Week 41 at aXpireverse, Joakim’s got your back. Check out his video to catch up. CEO Gary Markham travelled to India this week to prepare for the Bilr release. Click here to track the latest 20k $AXPR burn. Plus, a featured article by Hosting Advice was pretty cool. 2gether added Basic Attention Token ($BAT) support to the app this week. Let the $BAT spending begin! Use the invite code: paywithbat to get 100 $2GT free when you sign up for the app. Know of a startup that’s going to Malta Blockchain Summit? Let the XIO crew know since the team will be attending along with Uptrennd. Benjamin’s tutorial video on market cycles with the BOMB token as case study was riveting and full of useful info. This week’s Dash-walk-the-talk discussion revolved around getting unstuck as an entrepreneur. After taking inputs from the community 2 weeks back, the BOMB Board finalised on the team and way forward to manage the BOMB Instagram. For the latest update on the Birdchain app, click here. Congratulations to Bounty0x for crossing 2.5x of its funding goal on Republic with more than 2 months to go. Voyager is offering a 5% annual interest on ETHOS tokens held on their platform. Read more about it here. The news was also covered by SludgeFeed. Wendy O shared her usability experience of Voyager as well.
Bitcoin ATM in Alexis’ neighbourhood. Cool!
The McAfeeDex launched last week is off to a tremendous start. Bitcoin Cash’s Roger Ver spoke briefly on it in a news roundup video. 6 portals are live already. If you’re still wondering how to list your token on the Dex, here’s a simple guide from the man himself. Binance Chain support coming soon! SwitchDex is now trackable on DappRadar and State of the DApps. The team has set up a dedicated TG group for folks wanting to BUIDL on SwitchDex. Also, Callisto Network is slated to do a security audit of the McAfeeDex contracts. Great stuff! Peeps who missed the Fantom AMA with G.Crypto from 2 weeks back, can catch up from the transcript released this week. The latest technical update is detailed and covers all major changes in code. Uptrennd started a new video intro contest for a 2500 $1UP prize pool. Woot! Full transcript of Jeff’s interview with OmiseGo CTO Kasima from few weeks back was released this week. $1UP can now be spent in tons of retail chains thanks to a newly forged partnership with MobiePay. Last week we saw Jarau buy a laptop with his Uptrennd earnings. This week we learnt about Zubair buying a mobile phone with his $1UP earnings. Neat! The latest biweekly Dev update and weekly District update from Ditrict0x covers news such as Ethlance redesign, Meme factory NSFW filter etc.
Uptrennd continues to breach new heights on Alexa rankings every week

OST has set up a community slack to coordinate all Pepo related feedback received for the Pepo app. So join in if you want to help out! Did you know that Pepo is home to some of the most influential people in crypto? This week, we heard from Ethereum and Coinbase investor Bobby Goodlatte. The app crossed 20k P2P transactions and is now live in both app stores. The first such with micro-transactions, in-app purchases and cash-out options for crypto. Few weeks back, the Sentivate community chose to burn tokens (vs a raffle). This week, they voted on how many to burn. The $SNTVT crew sat down for a live Q&A with Bit Shaman this week. The team also wrote about possible future use-cases of the Universal Web with short story threads. Cryptoreview.xyz’s review of the project also came out this week. Constellation announced that it is joining Chainlink as a new node operator in order to stream enterprise data to Chainlink’s smart contracts. Click here for the PR release. The technical overview paper gets into details of what the partnership means for both companies. Bags Token hosted an AMA this week in their Telegram group. Hope you had an opportunity to get your doubts cleared. Community member Con built a $BAGS-centric image/gif board called bagsbook. Check it out! In a bit of a sobering news, Scroll (XD Token) ceased business operations this week.
Constellation will act as an oracle for Chainlink by streaming verified data to the network
Pynk was featured in the latest edition of the BlockMAG published by the Malta Blockchain Summit. COO Rupert Barksfield was invited by NatWest to speak on how to get traction for tech projects. Rupert’s interview by Ayo News where he explains how AI and crowd wisdom works in tandem at Pynk came out as well. Pynk Tank is Pynk's very own think tank intiative which hosts meet ups, panel discussions, podcasts with entrepreneurs, thought leaders etc. Their latest event was this week. Folks who are yet to figure out what Pynk does can read co-founder Zack Yurtsever’s article that explains it all. Following up on the Hydro Vault sneak peek from last week, check out its detailed update on the dev front. How can the Hydro platform be used to get acceleration for your fintech product? Click here to read how. Co-Founder Mike Kane travelled to the AWS Loft in NYC for the Shearman & Sterling Empire Startups Demo Day event to showcase Hydro’s fintech solutions. $HYDRO got listed on the Coinone exchange. This will be $HYDRO's first IDR fiat on-ramp. With bZx joining the Hydro dApp store this week, it now has an impressive line up of partners. Thanks to the massive community push, $HYDRO will be listed on Atomic Wallet in its next release. For a quick summary of the latest news from Hydroverse, click here. Most of these have already been covered in our updates. Silent Notary conducted the first ever speedtest of its IDL network. The team published the results and steps to optimise the code. In its current state, the network is able to execute 5-12 transactions per second. The first version of the SelfKey Corporate Wallet was launched this week. The corporate wallet will allow you to purchase digital services for your business in the future. Plus, a partnership with ChangeNOW allows easy crypto swapping from the marketplace.

And with that, we close for another week in the Parachuteverse. See you soon with another update. Cheers!

The Xtrabytes scam needs to be shut down and the people need to face criminal charges

I came across something the other day that caught my attention. I decided to finally read their first ever post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1793468.0 on bitcointalk.org. Until now, I had only looked at the first page or two. Some interesting bits from the first few pages:
1 year and 10 months later, we have no actual proof that he is a real person (at least not who he claims to be). The proof he is a real developer is extremely limited. We have zero proof that he is capable of developing what he claims he has. XBY has been anything but transparent. All 3 of these claims appear to be to entice people into buying into the Xtrabytes scam.
This should have NEVER been done, though it’s not surprising that C-Cex would do something so incredibly stupid. They should have delisted XBY, which would have forced Borzalom to start from scratch and apply for listing on the exchange with a new coin he created. Had they done this, it’s likely this whole scam would have never happened, as he has shown no development skills whatsoever and likely could not have made anything from scratch.
All that is IF it even is the true story. I don’t believe it to be. I believe Borz was in on Bitmox, which is why he had the source code. No chat with C-Cex ever happened, which is why the messages between Borz and C-cex support that are included in the post are plaintext when other bits of info are snippets and screenshots. He didn’t provide a snippet picture because the conversation never happened. There is further proof that it didn’t happen if you look at the language used by both Borz and the support person - they use the same language, which is notable by the overuse of adverbs, such as ‘very’ and ‘perfectly’. Borz typed these messages himself.
No additional code has ever been shown. The new algorithm he claims to have created, Proof of Signature, has never been seen or proven. Given the details, It’s likely that he never did any additional coding after the hard fork and the code is nearly the exact same as when he closed it.
If you care to continue reading, they get called out be being a scam within the first few pages by multiple users. The delays and stalls start almost immediately. Borz has never shown any additional code, as it doesn’t exist.
Some additional links:
This has all been discussed many times and this Bitcoin Talk post does a great job putting all the pieces together.
Here is a post that contains a message from CCR says the patent is all a delay tactic.
Within these posts, there are messages from CCR saying that he’s been selling his XBY. https://imgur.com/a/QtMXi0q
You can find Borzalom‘ real identity, as well as old posts from 3 coins, like Identity, that he copied from someone else and then shut down abruptly out of nowhere. He claims he’s from Hungary, but he had a business registered in Florida. Everything points to him living in Florida. He’s not deaf and he’s not a world class coding god.
It kind of becomes a rabbit hole of sorts, but if you care to read, it’s quite interesting and IMO proves without a doubt XtraBytes is 100% a scam.
Nothing has changed. Borzalom and CCR are criminals. They deserve to be in prison. There is enough proof of XBY being a fraud and conversely no proof their technology exists whatsoever.
XtraBytes needs to be shut down and the people responsible need to face criminal charges, that includes all their mods and team members that KNOW this is a scam, but keep it up because they’re being paid.

How to buy a ticket for solo voting?

Hi, I am new to Decred, but not to crypto or technology in general.
I've been reading up and fighting w/this software for the weekend. (Several, from dcrd to dcrwallet and dcrctl, as well as Decrediton).
I want to buy a solo ticket, not use a VSP. Yes, I am aware of the "voting wallet must be online or it can be missed" risk. I have set up a Docker config on a solid VPS to keep the voting wallet up. If needs be I can set up more nodes as well using the same (voting) wallet.
But how can I buy a ticket? The Decrediton UI is not very helpful. It just points to stake pools. I'm using Decrediton on Mac and trying to use the CLI to interface w/it is a nightmare. It would be great if there were a built-in console like in Bitcoin-Qt, but I haven't found one.
Surely it's possible to buy a ticket without using a VSP/Stakepool? Can anyone tell me if it's possible and if so, how can I do this?
Thanks in advance.

(Updated) [Staking] Reddcoin Core client GUI wallet on a Raspberry Pi Model 3B

Intro

This thread is an update to my first Reddcoin staking tutorial that was written 7 months ago.

The reason for the update
My Reddcoin Core software crashed and became unusable. My Raspberry Pi 3B would lag and freeze, I couldn't stake anymore.

Instead of just redoing everything the same way, I wanted to see if I could improve on 3 points:

The updates

If you would like to tip me
Writing a tutorial like this takes time and effort; tips are appreciated. My Reddcoin address: RqvdnNX5MTam855Y2Vudv7yVgtXdcYaQAW.

Overview

Steps

Video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Snr5e8bzftI
This video shows how long it takes to start Reddcoin Core.   TL;DR:

Extra

Backup
Backup your wallet to prevent losing the RDDs in your wallet! There are two methods to backup, do both. Make new backups if you create a new receiving address!

Boot with only 1 USB drive plugged in:
Make sure only the USB drive (with the swap partition and data partition) is plugged in when you boot up your Raspberry Pi. This to make sure the swap partition (/dev/sda1) is recognized correctly.   If you boot up with multiple USB drives, Lubuntu might see the USB drive with the swap partition as the second drive (instead of the first drive), and ignore the 2 GB swap partition. If this happens, starting Reddcoin can render the Raspberry Pi unresponsive.

Connection issues If you have issues syncing the blockchain because you have 0 network connections, please follow the instructions in this thread.

Start Reddcoin Core easier
Run a shell script (.sh file), so you can start Reddcoin just by double clicking on an icon on your Desktop.

Minimization options
Adjust minimization options, so you can safely press on the X button (the close/exit button on the upper right corner).

RealVNC VNC Viewer (client) and VNC Connect (server): To remote connect to the Raspberry Pi, I use VNC Viewer ad VNC Connect from RealVNC.

Chromium as browser: The updates break Firefox, the browser crashes when you try to run it. Install another browser, Chromium, to solve this issue.

Updates / Upgrades
If Software Updater shows up and tells you that there is updated software available, do not install the updates using Software Updater. Use LXTerminal to update Lubuntu.

Proposed Statement Of Work (SOW) For PIVX Blockchain Wallet Tutorial Campaign

Date: February 11, 2019
Client’s Name: PIVX
Project Name: PIVX Blockchain Wallet Tutorial Campaign
Representatives For Each Cryptocurrency Project: PIVX Community
Representatives For www.Cryptocurrency.Market:
Denni Lovejoy, Software Tutorial Specialist
https://twitter.com/DenniLovejoy

I. Summary

Currently there are over 2,000 cryptocurrency projects listed on coinmarketcap.com. Many of these cryptocurrency projects have their own official “decentralized wallets”, use recommended third-party wallets or are in the process of developing their wallet software.
For example, the PIVX community created the PIVX QT Wallet.
Many newcomers entering the crypto market will not be computer or software savvy and will not properly set up, protect and secure their cryptocurrency wallets. Crypto projects such as PIVX will need Blockchain Tutorials for the PIVX Wallet to help new users understand how to use the wallet correctly.
The goal of this proposal is to obtain funding to create:
  1. Create a set of PIVX tutorials to help educate the public on how to use the the PIVX wallet and PIVX Central account in a step by step user friendly way. This set of tutorials will include:

II. Introduction

My name is Denni Lovejoy, I am a Blockchain Tutorial Specialist at www.Cryptocurrency.Market and you can view the quality of my past blockchain tutorials here:
Blockchain Tutorial Playlist
Blockchain Tutorial #41 - How To Setup A PIVX Wallet
I started creating blockchain tutorials to help newbies avoid getting hacked by bad actors in the crypto community. I chose to work with Tai Zen & Leon Fu Dot Com’s www.Cryptocurrency.Market channel because they were the 1st and only channel on the internet back in early 2013 that I found to be talking about trading and investing in bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. For example, they were the only channel that I know of to recommend investing in Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Stratis, Monero, Decred, NXT, Antshares, etc. when everyone else was afraid to do so. These coins all turned out to be huge winners.
I learned from the www.Cryptocurrency.Market channel that the #1 most important thing in cryptocurrencies is to survive. Unfortunately, many people who have bought cryptocurrencies lost them because of a lack of security, privacy and formal education on how to use their digital wallets correctly. The lack of blockchain tutorials amongst all cryptocurrencies is why I started my Blockchain Tutorial playlist on the Cryptocurrency Market channel. I believe uneducated newbies in the crypto community who do not understand what it takes to secure, protect and use their digital wallets will mistakenly leave their crypto on exchanges which is subject to being hacked or stolen and will not back up their private keys.
I have been monitoring the digital wallet space for quite some time now and I have chosen to associate my brand/ reputation & seek funding from the PIVX community for due to the project’s a) professionalism b) software engineering/technical abilities and most importantly c) a working privacy cryptocurrency and lastly d) the PIVX team has working decentralized wallets located on https://pivx.org/wallet/.
For the above reasons and the fact that I am more comfortable working with people I have personally met in person, I RESPECTFULLY submit this formal proposal to the PIVX community to request funding for myself to create an ambitious, 3rd party, independent, unbiased blockchain tutorials to educate the public on how to use the PIVX wallet and PIVX Central account correctly.

III. Objectives

To create a series of tutorial videos to:
  1. Educate the public on how to setup and use the PIVX wallet with a set of user friendly Blockchain Tutorials.
  2. Educate the public on how to set up a PIVX Central account and make a PIVX proposal.
  3. Educate the public on how to avoid common mistakes and pitfalls in key parts of the tutorials.

IV. “Blockchain Tutorial” Deliverables

TUTORIAL 1: How To Set Up & Use The PIVX QT Wallet ($500) [VIDEO FORMAT]
  1. In this phase, I will help viewers understand the initial process on how to download and install the PIVX QT wallet.
  2. Explain how to send and receive PIVX on the PIVX wallet.
  3. Explain how to backup, protect and update the PIVX wallet.
TUTORIAL 2: How to Set Up The Deterministic zPIV Wallet & Stake zPIV ($500) [VIDEO FORMAT]
  1. In this phase, I will demonstrate how to set up a zPIV wallet and stake zPIV.
TUTORIAL 3: How To Make A PIVX Central Account, Upvote/ Downvote, Comment & Make a PIVX Proposal ($500) [VIDEO FORMAT]
  1. In this phase, I will demonstrate how to make a PIVX Central account, show users how to upvote/ downvote and comment on the proposals.
  2. In this phase, I will provide the step by step details on how to make a PIVX Proposal.

V. Pricing & Terms

If you are interested in having me create the video tutorials mentioned in Section IV. “Blockchain Tutorial” Deliverables for your crypto project the cost will be as follows:
  1. I respectfully request $1,500 worth of PIVX for me to complete the section IV. “Blockchain Tutorial” Deliverables.
  2. The grand total cost of section IV. “Blockchain Tutorial” Deliverables = $1,550. (Includes Proposal Submission Fee)
  3. The estimated completion time for this entire proposal: 10 Hours x 4 Videos = 40 Hours x $37.5 USD/hour = $1,500 USD for Content Creation. This proposed schedule is to do this work in under 1 month allowing me to create 1 tutorial per week.
  4. Payment will be paid in PIVX (PIVX) by a PIVX Representative to me and will be processed after all 3 tutorials are accepted by the PIVX community. I will email a PIVX Representative an invoice with the details.
  5. I will include 1 revision per video.

VI. Conditions

  1. The tutorials will be hosted on the PIVX YouTube channel or any other official platform and not hosted anywhere else.
  2. I will get all my basic questions answered on PIVX support channels.
  3. I will state in the videos that I’m being sponsored by the PIVX Community anywhere that is deemed appropriate.
  4. PIVX will own the copyrights to the content created in this SOW and the PIVX Project has the right to use the content without asking me for permission.
  5. Videos will follow the PIVX design guidelines.
  6. Videos will be reviewed for accuracy by representatives of the PIVX community before being released to the public.
I am submitting this first draft of my proposed Statement Of Work (SOW) to invite feedback and commentary from the PIVX community.

The following are questions are for PIVX to consider and are not part of the SOW.

Statement Of Work (SOW) FAQ:
1. What is Denni Lovejoy’s big picture approach to help educate and promote PIVX to the public?
This entire SOW is based on the premise that PIVX is sponsoring me to do a series of educational/ tutorial style videos of the cryptocurrency governance coin sector.
2. Why are you taking a tutorial-based style approach to the videos?
The reason for this approach is to help viewers AVOID any mistakes they may make while going through ANY of the processes associated with using PIVX software.
3. Will you follow the PIVX design guidelines and have consistent screen-design intro/ outros?
Yes, I plan to use consistent screen-design and leverage anything additional the PIVX design and support team can offer me including intro, outros, disclaimers, ideas, etc. I will be following the guidelines found on https://github.com/PIVX-Project/Official-PIVX-Graphics.
4. Do you plan to publish the videos on the Youtube channel of your company or will they go into the official PIVX Youtube channel?
No, I do not plan to publish the videos on our 'Cryptocurrency Market' YouTube channel which has over 26,000 subscribers and over 700 videos. PIVX will have all the rights to the videos and will not be hosted elsewhere.
5. What is your target reach expectations and how do you want to keep the videos up-to-date if something changes in the GUI/software?
I do not plan on doing any advertising or marketing for the tutorials and will let the PIVX PR marketing team strategize that. I can speak with the PR team as needed, but my proposal is to create video content only suggested by the community.
I will give 1 revision per video if any of the videos need updating.
6. Did the other cryptocurrency projects you made video tutorials for also pay for their production?
No. My approach has been to create 66 blockchain tutorials for free first, to then leverage this work portfolio as my Proof-Of-Skill so that I can approach projects like PIVX with my proposal.
7. After watching your videos on youtube the production does not feel in step with our current educational videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLaMrpvQ0yJ_xFLGwNoDzfT6Wr0XHpyr1R
I can adapt to the current style of educational videos listed on the PIVX Class channel. The main differences I can adjust to are: a) include background music during the intro and outro b) use themed transitions and text pop ups. If this is what the community prefers, let me know. However, I can add one element to the tutorials for consideration. I can record my face while guiding viewers through the tutorial to offer a more human feel as if I'm holding your hand or you're looking over my shoulders in every step of the process.
Please let me know if you have any questions or suggestions about my proposal.

Information about MinedBlock

Information about MinedBlock

How to make Crypto Mining?
In fact, how much bitcoin mining is done; why he deserves a lengthy article on his own. Because Bitcoin is a technology that is so important and one of the key things that makes a great invention is the concept known as Proof-of-Work. In this article, I will rationally address this issue and preserve the mental health of our readers who do not want to think about the technical part of the work, at least for now.

https://preview.redd.it/g78lsk4zn5x21.png?width=306&format=png&auto=webp&s=e3e0d1f8546a77e202f75dd8927dd1fb0719e0f2

The main principle of MinedBlock is to provide maximum transparency for all its customers and long-term investors. Digital needle search in digital straw stack Dijital
There is one thing that I want to draw attention to very briefly before I go to the topic: Bitcoin extraction, ie mining to get some bitcoin, is not the sole purpose of mining. Bitcoin miners, also called Blockchain and BTC is one of the features of the BTC and decentralized account to keep the book, which is why this is what it is and what is the subject of another article also be the subject. For now, let's just think of mining as mak to find / remove bitcoin co Şimd

Bitcoin mining is, in fact, very, very, in summary, the search for a number that is characteristic of your computer, and what makes this number so special is that it is difficult to find and difficult to find.

Bitcoin mining is getting harder
The reason for it to be difficult and difficult is not by chance. This is because the Bitcoin protocol is being designed, a security measure set by Satoshi Nakamoto. This security measure (that is, it is difficult to find) is that everyone can't perform in Bitcoin printing ”(and / or manipulate Blockchain)) according to his head.

Actually, think of mining as a game of chance that you play on your computer or, as I wrote above, in a straw stack of numbers, again by searching for numbers. Assume that each of your search moves is proportional to your processing power. In this case, the more CPU power you put into this, the more likely you are to find a needle in the haystack.

In the meantime, you can imagine that the digital straw stack in question is gigantic and the needle is tiny. And it is not possible to i start looking from a corner of the haystack asyon and to use the optimization methods in such ways to shorten / increase your chances. This is going to be a bad example, but think that the needle is constantly and randomly displaced.

MinedBlock mining As A Service.
MinedBlock offers the open door for financial specialists to exploit utilizing the assets from a huge scale mining task, mining numerous crypto resources without the need to purchase, design and keep up costly mining hardware.
MinedBlock one of a kind way to deal with this movement gives you a completely verified and agreeable token giving you an offer of responsibility for holding organization behind the administration and not only an ‘arbitrary utility token.

What is CPU Mining?
In the early days of Bitcoin, it was possible to mining with any computer (it is still possible, of course, but not materially profitable because it costs much more than its revenue). Even the official Bitcoin client Bitcoin-QT self-mininge was openly presented to the user. What we call CPU mining, the computer used in the CPU, the power of the central processing unit of the computer, taking advantage of the above-mentioned mathematical operations to do the computer and as a result was to obtain Bitcoin. But soon after, more people became familiar with Bitcoin, and the mining stream became obsolete, which increased the overall processing speed of the network and raised the level of difficulty. But the end of the era of CPU mining was not the only one. There is another factor that causes this Buna

What is GPU Mining?
Graphics cards are more efficient than processors (CPUs) to solve the mathematical problems required to perform Bitcoin (and some other coins) mining. The reason for this is that the GPUs (Graphics Processing Unit), the processors of the graphics cards, are more efficient in the floating point calculations and the processes required for Bitcoin extraction are intensively used by these calculations. That is to say, in a parable that the GPUs are more effective in the mining process than the CPUs, which will also be understood by those who do not. Çiler If the GPUs are strong and fast mine workers, the CPUs are more qualified, white-collar workers. The CPUs are perhaps more educated and knowledgeable, but GPUs are much more effective for mining.

How is MinedBlock Different From Cloud Mining?
With a cloud mining service, you usually purchase contracts for a particular hashrate for 5 years. With such an agreement, it will usually take you about 48 months to compensate your costs by leaving 1/5 of the contract requirement to make some profit. What many people don't consider is that you'll probably never make a real profit, unless the network challenge will increase at that time, that is, the price of Bitcoin is not dramatically increased.
There are different arrangements out there, for example, cloud mining administrations, yet they aren’t straightforward or financially savvy and MinedBlock means to change that. There have been various mining ICOs directed through 2017/2018 that offered an offer of digging income as an end-result of speculation however that haven’t led their token deal as a controlled Security Token Offering which builds the hazard to speculators.
