Multi apartment clustered cryptocurrency mining rig
So you’ve probably just heard all your classes are online. And now you’re trying to sublet your apartment but no one’s gonna take it. So now you’re gonna be paying at least $1000/month for an empty apartment. I have a proposal that can reduce that cost and possibly turn a profit. Firstly, we have a very high risk credit market on our hands. The Federal Reserve has been pumping money into the economy and at some point the US dollar will have to inflate while growth stagnates (aka stagflation). During stagflationary periods in the past the price of non-fiat currencies like gold or silver has skyrocketed. Recently cryptocurrencies have emerged with the same general economic properties of such commodities. Therefore we may see an increase in their values as the Fed keeps pumping more money into the economy. As of now in order to generate enough money per month to pay off rent in South Campus Commons, each apartment would need a Bitcoin rig capable of generating ~2200 TH/s (since you don’t pay for electricity). For the Varsity and View this might have to be higher considering the cost of electricity. This is definitely possible with new ASIC chips that are solely built for the purpose of running Bitcoin hashing algorithms. For other cryptocurrencies (Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin), these rates may be different. But like any good portfolio manager, diversifying our investments will ensure we have a profitable outcome. If enough students come together to construct a Bitcoin mining rig in their apartments we could essentially create a multi apartment clustered miner to be able to generate Bitcoin. On top of that, because campus server resources will be diminished due to online classes, we can in turn utilize that computing power to help mine such cryptocurrencies. As a result we won’t have to find people to sublet our apartments to and won’t have to worry about the financial undertakings associated with it. TL;DR: Corona collectively fucked everyone in the ass and we should build a massive Bitcoin rig to pay off our rent.
Make your own stakebox. Ultimate beginners guide how to compile any wallet on AARCH64 (Raspbery pi and other SBC)
I contemplated to wrote this for a long time, so it's finally time. As you know a lot of altcoins uses PoS (Proof-of-stake) way of "mining" coins. Which basically means, that you hold coins on your unlocked wallet and you are receiving stakes as a reward. This requires very little power and it can bring you a lot of rewards, at just 10W from the wall. So first I am using latest Raspbian on RPI4B 4GB in this example.Setting up Raspbian is not part of this process since it's very well documented. I recommend to change user from pi to something else due to security concerns and you can also do other stuff just search "security Raspberry PI" and you find a lot of articles, but this is not the focus of this guide. I know there are a lot of guides on the internet, but I am using like 5 sources, so it's compiled what other people wrote and some of my research. I am using AnyDesk insted of SSH or VNC server, because it works it's ligthweit and it just works. So after you see the gui of Raspbian, just launch terminal (CTRL + ALT + T) and do basic thing: sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade Than press Y and let it run, after is finished, we need to prepare so dependency packages. Since most of the wallets using Berkeley DB 4.8 we need to obtain it. So in terminal wrote:
cd cd Downloads wget http://download.oracle.com/berkeley-db/db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz tar -xzvf db-4.8.30.NC.tar.gz cd db-4.8.30.NC/build_unix ../dist/configure --enable-cxx make sudo make install
So wait unti it's finished and than you can delete files in Downloads folder in gui or use:
Watch the output folder which it creates, it's stated in the first two lines and copy then by highliting the text and CTRL+SHIFT+C copy it to your clipboard.
cd Streamies (this is that git created folder) ./autogen.sh ./configure CPPFLAGS="-I/uslocal/BerkeleyDB.4.8/include -O2" LDFLAGS="-L/uslocal/BerkeleyDB.4.8/lib" sudo make (this could take hours) sudo make install
And you are done, files is going to be in folder /uslocal/bin (DO NOT delete git created folder, because you are going to need it for faster compiling, when wallet get's and update.)
Now you can list files by:
And then you can copy/move them where ever you want by using:
sudo mv * [destination full path]
Let it run and go back to folder where you move those files.
sudo chmod +x streamies-qt (since we want to run wallet)
In most cases compiled files are going to in format of "shared library" so we need to create script to run it. Open up a text editor from gui or through nano. And paste this to that file:
And save it as a sh file, for example run.sh. Then we need to make it runnable so:
sudo chmod +x run.sh
Now to run it, it's just:
And here we are glorious GUI wallet appears and you are done, you can paste blockchain, wallet.dat from other sources, so this migration is pretty easy and you, if you have it on for exaple flash disk. So this is basic how to compile QT wallets on AARCH64. I am running 7 wallets, 2 of those are Masternodes and RPI 4B 4GB would handle way more, I am at best on half of my RAM. Some wallets need more package, but it's not much of and issue, since compiling stops and you just copy paste nape which is missing put it in the google and add "apt-get" after the name of package and you are going to see, what is the name of the packages so it can be retreived from package assinstant aka apt-get. So basically:
sudo apt-get install [package name]
Then press y and again wrote:
This process is going to continue where it was left off, so nothing is going to run from beginning. Updating wallets is basically exactly same, just repeat steps from "git clone" and after that proceed as it was written above. So I hope this helps some of you, to use this at home and not on some VPS, if you are anxious as me, to host my wallets on remote server.
Cryptocurrency is an internet-based medium of exchange which uses cryptographical functions to conduct financial transactions. Cryptocurrencies leverage blockchain technology to gain decentralization, transparency, and immutability.
The most important feature of a cryptocurrency is that it is not controlled by any central authority: the decentralized nature of the blockchain makes cryptocurrencies theoretically immune to the old ways of government control and interference.
Cryptocurrencies can be sent directly between two parties via the use of private and public keys. These transfers can be done with minimal processing fees, allowing users to avoid the steep fees charged by traditional financial institutions. Today cryptocurrencies have become a global phenomenon known to most people. In this guide, we are going to tell you all that you need to know about cryptocurrencies and the sheer that they can bring into the global economic system. Sure, you can decide to pick any cryptocurrency to invest.Remember to diversify and work with reliable exchange services and brokers to protect your investment deals from any fraud. There are numerous platforms designed in other to invest and manage your cryptocurrencies one of such reliable platform is Zippercoin www.zippercoin.tech a well estbalished mining and investment institution that enables investors get adequate return of their investment in a space of Four days.Remember to ensure you include crypto coins into your asset portfolio as soon as possible while top currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are still hot for investment. Nowadays, you‘ll have a hard time finding a major bank, a big accounting firm, a prominent software company or a government that did not research cryptocurrencies, publish a paper about it or start a so-called blockchain-project. But beyond the noise and the press releases the overwhelming majority of people – even bankers, consultants, scientists, and developers – have very limited knowledge about cryptocurrencies. They often fail to even understand the basic concepts.
Few people know, but cryptocurrencies emerged as a side product of another invention. Satoshi Nakamoto, the unknown inventor of bitcoin, the first and still most important cryptocurrency, never intended to invent a currency. In his announcement of Bitcoin in late 2008, Satoshi said he developed “A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System.“ His goal was to invent something; many people failed to create before digital cash. The single most important part of Satoshi‘s invention was that he found a way to build a decentralized digital cash system. In the nineties, there have been many attempts to create digital money, but they all failed. After seeing all the centralized attempts fail, Satoshi tried to build a digital cash system without a central entity. Like a peer-to-peer network for file sharing. This decision became the birth of cryptocurrency. They are the missing piece Satoshi found to realize digital cash. The reason why is a bit technical and complex, but if you get it, you‘ll know more about cryptocurrencies than most people do. So, let‘s try to make it as easy as possible: To realize digital cash you need a payment network with accounts, balances, and transaction. That‘s easy to understand. One major problem every payment network has to solve is to prevent the so-called double spending: to prevent that one entity spends the same amount twice. Usually, this is done by a central server who keeps record about the balances. In a decentralized network, you don‘t have this server. So you need every single entity of the network to do this job. Every peer in the network needs to have a list with all transactions to check if future transactions are valid or an attempt to double spend. But how can these entities keep a consensus about these records? If the peers of the network disagree about only one single, minor balance, everything is broken. They need an absolute consensus. Usually, you take, again, a central authority to declare the correct state of balances. But how can you achieve consensus without a central authority? Nobody did know until Satoshi emerged out of nowhere. In fact, nobody believed it was even possible. Satoshi proved it was. His major innovation was to achieve consensus without a central authority. Cryptocurrencies are a part of this solution – the part that made the solution thrilling, fascinating and helped it to roll over the world.
Thai Nhat Minh | Stably: First of all, can you have a brief introduction about yourself as well as about Chromia? Henrik_hjelte, Sergelubkin Henrik Hjelte: Hello. My name is Henrik Hjelte. I am Co-Founder and CEO of Chromia. I have more than 30 years of experience in programming and a degree in Economics from Uppsala University. BTW economics and computers = blockchain, so finally found a job that fits me. I was introduced to the blockchain by the leader of the colored-coins project Alex Mizrahi in 2013 Colored coins project was a very influential thing It was the first way for user created tokens bolted on to the only blockchain at the time (almost) bitcoin We started ChromaWay 2014, with Or Perelman too, to explore if the world was interested in “tokens” and those kind of applications We worked with enterprise blockchain for some time, but now we are focused on Chromia, a new public platform for mainstream decentralized applications using relational blockchain technology. Ok, maybe I should tell something about Chromia and not myself too. Chromia is a better blockchain for building decentralized Apps. better because it follows the “normal worlds” way of managing data. A little history: I found a text/description to paste: Chromia is a brainchild of ChromaWay. ChromaWay has a long record of delivering pioneering projects around the world. We issued Euros on the Bitcoin blockchain with LHV bank, allowed investors to invest in startups in a wholly decentralized way with Funderbeam, digitized the title transfer process with the Swedish land registry, and mediated the green bond market. ChromaWay’s core team created the world’s first protocol to issue tokens already in 2012, when blockchain was called “bitcoin 2.0”. Then ChromaWay introduced the relational model to enterprise blockchains with a consortium database called Postchain. Now Postchain is going public as the foundation for Chromia, a better blockchain for building decentralised Apps. Chromia is a new public blockchain based on the idea of integrating traditional databases, Relational databases with blockchain security. Chromia is a general purpose blockchain with full smart contract capabilities, just that it is a lot easier to code, even complex applications. You code with an easy to learn new programming language that combines the power of SQL and normal languages but makes it secure in a blockchain context. Up to 1/10 the code-lines vs other blockchains. If you don’t believe me, check this blog (later, stay in the chat): https://blog.chromia.com/reasons-for-rell-compactness/ The aim of Chromia is to combine relational databases, which exist in every kind of organization, with blockchains. We want to provide a platform for our users to develop totally decentralized apps securely. Our goal is for Chromia to be seen as the number one infrastructure for decentralized applications. Think about it: blockchain is about managing data (in a shared context). And… What do we use to manage data? A Database! Serge: Sure! My name is Serge! And I work in Chromia marketing department. Also, I help coordinate various projects inside the company My background is in Economics and Marketing Thai Nhat Minh | Stably: Question 1️⃣ DApp is currently mainly concentrated in the field of games, and its life cycle is basically short, just like the Crypto Kitty is only hot for a while, how to dig the application of DApp in more fields and how to improve the utilization rate of DApp? u/henrik_hjelteu/sergelubkin Serge: Good one, let me answer Gaming is quite a challenging target because good UX is expected, it needs to be fast, responsive, etc. If we can do that, then we can also do all sorts of other stuff. Also, it lets us experiment with things without a lot of hassle, it’s easier to get users, and so on. It’s also a growing niche within blockchain. You can check our latest game, Mines of Dalarnia https://www.minesofdalarnia.com We also have Enterprise projects already, for example Green Assets Wallet https://greenassetswallet.org/about that already launched on the first Mainnet version called Bootstrap Net,we also have https://capchap.se built on our tech, more projects like non-profit review platform Impactoria, public land registries, medical projects and so on Also don’t forget about our fully decentralized social network/forum that is live already on the testnet https://testnet.chromunity.com. Thai Nhat Minh | Stably: Question 2️⃣ How will dapp face the world change after the epidemic? u/henrik_hjelteu/sergelubkin Henrik Hjelte: Nobody can say for sure, but maybe people will tend to be online more than offline, so demand on online products and dapps as well will increase. I just came in from an internal demo of a secret project we do, and it can be seen as a way to hang out online (a bit cryptic answer) There are also interesting use cases of dapps in the medical field. For example, we participated in the world-wide hackathon Hack for Sweden. Where our submission was to create an app on Chromia blockchain that increases the coordination between countries and hospitals especially during the hard time and COVID19. Chromia wants to help the European Union (and the world, but we saw problems in the EU…) and its citizens to provide transparency over the necessary medical and protective devices and appliances of which we see shortage during this emergency crisis. You can watch our promo here https://twitter.com/chromaway/status/1247557274337447938?s=20. For me it was a fun Hackathon too because for once I got the opportunity to code… I told everyone else I will not do any bossing… We try to continue this path on medical applications a bit. Thai Nhat Minh | Stably: Question 3️⃣ DApps are still not directly embedded in mobile phones like Apps at this moment, and DApps have also been flooded with bet content. How can guests increase the use of DApps and lower the threshold for using DApps? u/henrik_hjelteu/sergelubkin Serge: The answer is — better User Experience. We believe that in order for a DApp to be usable and become more widely accepted it has to feel like a normal App. A DApp needs to have quick transactions, scale well & shouldn’t require users to pay for each transaction. This is something that is possible now with using Chromia. It’s an extremely exciting time since we are going to see a new generation of DApps. On top of that, we think that we might have an ace coming up. We have built a game to demonstrate the powers and possibilities of Chromia. A little bit about the game: In Mines of Dalarnia (https://www.minesofdalarnia.com), players get to explore the vast expanses of interplanetary treasure mines. With an innovative Dalarnia Token system, players can purchase virtual mining plots, and put them up for rent into the community, allowing for real-estate tycoons to earn more Tokens. Mining plots can also undergo their own upgrades, making them more lucrative to explore, as well as a hot property for rental by miners. The game takes advantage of these NFT-based tokens to securely track exchanges, and provide a sense of ownership and wealth to players as they grow their mining and resource empire. Watch our trailer https://youtu.be/bDXKOp1Asqw and sign-up for the TestNet on the website! Thai Nhat Minh | Stably: Question 4️⃣ Many practitioners think that the main reason for restricting the development of DApp is “incomplete infrastructure”. How effective is the current “cross-chain” and “side-chain” solution? u/henrik_hjelteu/sergelubkin Serge: Our infrastructure resembles Alibaba Cloud, so a DApp developer just goes and deploys his DApp’s blockchain into it, it’s easy. Also our language Rell https://rell.chromia.com/en/maste is more robust than any other blockchain programming language.Or Azure or AWS Rell combines the following features:
Relational data modeling and queries similar to SQL. People familiar with SQL should feel at home once they learn the new syntax.
Normal programming constructs: variables, loops, functions, collections, etc.
Constructs which specifically target application backends and, in particular, blockchain-style programming including request routing, authorization, etc.
We want people to join our channels such as telegram, twitter, email also our decentralized forum https://testnet.chromunity.com and participate in discussions
We want people to try our dapps such as Mines of Dalarnia
We want to get feedback and understand the most important issues people care about Chromia and the blockchain industry in general
We want to get more developers building on top of Chromia
LBTS: What was your motivation for creating RELL and not use other languages? What benefits? Why name it RELL also? Henrik Hjelte: We have a private/federated relational blockchain called Postchain, and it allows SQL. But that can work in a small environment when you know all parties, and if you are really careful in checking code. But not for a more secure, distributed on the web setup, so we had to make it more secure (Deterministic, statically typed). In the process, we also took the opportunity to make it cool and nice. Also: it is simply not possibly to use evm, jvm, or web assembly. We need/want a database in the bottom. Postgresql is our virtual machine. You do not reimplement that…. 10+ years codebase…. Lee: Being part of the gamer community, I would like to know what you would think about collaborating with a MOBA, RPG or Arcade game or some kind of project? Henrik Hjelte: We are already collaborating with some smaller studios. For bigger fish, we want to show them what is completely unique and visionary with Chromia, and we think we need various examples. So, first arcade game MoD (linked above) is one example, it is not the full potential or anything but a start. In this summer, krystopia 2 a puzzle game from Antler Interactive will be released. What is even cooler is the “demo project” we do together with them, where we will show how a mutliplayer game with real blockchain features will work. I just saw it an hour ago and was blown away OH, and there is another studio releasing something very cool. Full logic on chain strategy game. Chain of Alliance. oyibo pepper: Do you encourage HACKATHON programs for intending Developers to test their skills and build on RELL Can you explain more about CHROMIA AMBASSADORS PROGRAM, CAN I BECOME AN AMBASSADOR Serge: Yes, you can, but you will need to change your avatar 🤣 Seriously, we are growing our Chromians community if you want to become one please ping our admins in Chromia telegram group. Also, we are planning virtual hackathons soon, please subscribe to stay updated Infinite Crypto: Since the Chromia project is currently working on the Ethereum blockchain ERC20 standard! But we know that there are a lot of scalability issues with Ethereum, so why would you choose the Ethereum blockchain over other scalable blockchains? Do you have any plans for Mainnet launch of Chromia? Henrik Hjelte: ETH is just used in a pre-phase for tokens. We will have our own mainnet tokens interchangable with ETH. Oyinbo pepper What’s CHROMIA SSO and SDK, how can I get started Henrik Hjelte Both are 3 letters. That is what they have in common. SDK = software development kit, check docs on https://rell.chromia.com SSO = single sign on. A unique UX improvement. You approve an app in your wallet (vault) with super ease. no need to remember codes sso: https://blog.chromia.com/chromia-sso-the-whys-and-the-whats/ We have a fundamentally different model from bitcoin and ethereum and the likes. The blockchain is not run by anonymous computers in basement and student dorms across the world. We have more of known identities, so 51% attacks is protected not by PoW/PoS but other consensus. Please see our whitepaper. Note that we are not noobs when it comes to this, our CTO Alex has published papers in academic journals on consensus etc. from 2013, and done several important ideas for blockchain. Sidechains we think he was first with, tokens too. Sheron Fernando: Is there any plan to makes partnership with local cryptocurrency developers from each country to make $CHR usage more worldwide? Serge: Yes, we are looking for cooperation with more external developers. Send me a message if you are interested in developing something on Chromia. Stella: What are the underlying problems in the Dapps today that can be solved with the Chromia protocol? Serge:
Scalability — on Chromia your dapp can have unlimited numbers of users thanks to parallel scaling
Easiness of use — you don’t need external wallets, no need to buy crypto to pay for gas etc
Cost — in general to deploy the dapp and to use the dapp
Marcel Lagacé: Why build this platform? What is Chromia mission? What are the most prominent features of the platform? Can you clarify the use case for this feature? Henrik Hjelte: We build the platform to fix the problems with blockchains, that we ourselves have experienced since 2014 (before ethereum existed). LBTS: Can you tell us about Chromia developers? How motivated and experienced are they to always deliver the best products? Henrik Hjelte: I can tell you that we recruit developers that are really good, from all parts of the world. Vietnam has been a hub because we found many good, so in Ukraine. How can we say “we have so good developers”? First one thing that is a bit different is that we are pretty experienced in leadership team of development. I do not code much anymore since I’m a CEO. But I do have now over 30 years of experience. Got published and was payed when I was 15. First full-time professional developer job at 18. Have released open-source projects used by 10: s of thousand developers. And Alex, our CTO is Extremely good. That is why I recruited him to my old startup 2006 or so… So: we have experience to sort out good developers from bad. Marcel Lagacé: Does Chromia staking model is different from other staking platform?? What are the beneficial advantages of chromia staking system? Serge: The main difference is that we have independent Providers, entities that are not connected. These serious players are exchanges, data centres, professional staking companies. They provide a backbone of the ecosystem and host dapps. Like Amazon servers in the cloud. They cannot have stake bigger than the maximum thus they can’t control the network. This is probably the main difference with classic DPoS networks Nguyen Duy Bao: A lot of people will want to know what the strength of Chromia is but I want to know the weaknesses and problems Chromia faces ? How do you plan to solve it? Henrik Hjelte: A weakness I guess is weak compared to “competition”. And there are some blockchain projects that got crazy amount of funding. So how can we compete with that, when they can hire more developers for example? Well here is what experience comes into play: More developers does not always increase productivity a lot, it is diminishing returns. You can see many large projects, with 100 of developers fail miserably with no results. And actually, sometimes true with marketing spend too. It is generally good with money, but if you are a bit clever you can compete also on marketing with less money than your competition. CryptoDiffer teamHello, everyone! We are glad to meet here:Max Freeman (@maxfreeman4), Project Lead at Epic CashYoga Dude (@Yogadude), PR&Marketing at Epic CashXenolink (@Xenolink), Advisor at Epic Cash Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash Thanks Max, we are excited to be here! Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash Hello Everyone! Thank you for having us here! Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash Thank you to the CryptoDiffer team and CryptoDiffer community for hosting us! CryptoDiffer teamLet`s start from the first introduction question:Q1: Can you introduce yourself to the community? What is your background and how did you join Epic Cash? Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash Hello! My background is Marketing and Business Development, I’ve been in crypto since 2011 started with Bitcoin, then Monero in 2014, Ethereum in 2015 and at some point Doge for fun and profit. I joined Epic Cash team in September 2019 handling PR and Marketing. I saw in Epic Cash what was missing in my previous cryptos — things that were missing in Bitcoin and Monero especially. Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash Hello Cryptodiffer Community, I am not an original co-founder nor am I a developer for the Epic Cash project. I am however a community member that is involved in helping scale this project to higher levels. One of the many beauties of Epic Cash is that every single member in the community has the opportunity to be part of EPIC’s team, it can be from development all the way to content producing. Epic Cash is a community driven project. The true Core Team of Epic Cash is our community. I believe a community that is the Core Team is truly powerful. EPIC Cash has one of the freshest and strongest communities I have seen in quite a while. Which is one of the reasons why I became involved in this project. Epic displayed some of the most self community produced content I have seen in a project. I’m actually a doctor of medicine but in terms of my experience in crypto, I have been involved in the industry since 2012 beginning with mining Litecoin. Since then I have been doing deep dive analysis on different projects, investing, and building a network in crypto that I will utilize to help connect and scale Epic in every way I can. To give some credit to those people in my network that have been a part of helping give Epic exposure, I would like to give a special thanks to u/Tetsugan and u/Saurabhblr. Tetsugan has been doing a lot of work for the Japanese community to penetrate the Japanese market, and Japan has already developed a growing interest in Epic. Daku Sarabh the owner and creator of Crypto Daku Robinhooders, I would like to thank him and his community for giving us one of our first large AMA’s, which he has supported our project early and given us a free AMA. Many more to thank but can’t be disclosed. Also thank you to all the Epic Community leaders, developers, and Content producers! Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash I’m Max Freeman, which stands for “Maximum Freedom for Mankind”. I started working on the ideas that would become Epic in 2018. I fell in love with Bitcoin in 2017 but realized that it needs privacy at the base layer, fungibility, better scalability in order to go to the next level. CryptoDiffer team Really interesting backgrounds I must admit, pleasure to see the team that clearly has one vision of the project by being completely decentralized:) Q2: Can you briefly describe what is Epic Cash in 3–5 sentences? What technology stands behind Epic Cash and why it’s better than the existing one? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash I’d like to highlight the differences between Epic and the two highest-valued privacy coin projects, Monero and Zcash. XMR has always-on privacy like Epic does, but at a cost: Its blockchain is over 20x more data intensive than Epic, which limits its possibilities for scalability. Epic’s blockchain is small and light enough to run a full node on cell phones, something that is in our product road map. ZEC by comparison can’t run on low end devices because of its zero knowledge based approach, and only 1% of transactions are fully private. Epic is simply newer, more advanced technology than prior networks thanks to Mimblewimble We will also add more algorithms to widen the range of hardware that can participate in mining. For example, cell phones and tablets based around ARM chips. Millions of people can mine Epic that can’t mine Bitcoin, and that will help grow the network rapidly. There are some great short videos on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQBFfksJlM97rgrplLRwNUg/videos that explain why we believe we have created something truly special here. Our core architecture derives from Grin, so we are fortunate to benefit on an ongoing basis from their considerable development efforts. We are focused on making our currency truly usable and widely available, beyond a store of value and becoming a true medium of exchange. Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash Well we all have our views, but in a nutshell, we offer things that were missing in the previous cryptos. We have sound fiscal emission schedule matching Bitcoin, but we are vastly more private and faster. Our blockchain is lighter than Bitcoin or Monero and our tech is more scalable. Also, we are unique in that we are mineable with CPUs and GPUs as well as ASICs, giving the broadest population the ability to mine Epic Cash. Plus, you can’t forget FUNGIBILITY 🙂 we are big on that — since you can’t have true privacy without fungibility. Also, please understand, we have HUGE respect to all the cryptos that came before us, we learned a lot from them, and thanks to their mistakes we evolved. Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash To add on, what also makes Epic Cash unique is the ability to decentralize the mining using a tri-algo model of Random X (CPU), Progpow (GPU), and Cuckoo (ASIC) for an ability to do hybrid mining. I believe this is an issue we can see today in Bitcoin having centralized mining and the average user has a costly barrier of entry. To follow up on this one in my opinion one of the things we adopted that we have seen success for , in example Bitcoin and Monero, is a strong community driven coin. I believe having a community driven coin will provide a more organic atmosphere especially when starting with No ICO, or Premine with a fair distribution model for everyone. CryptoDiffer team Q3: What are the major milestones Epic Cash has achieved so far? Maybe you can share with us some exciting plans for future weeks/months? Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash Since we went live in September of 2019, we attracted a very large community of users, miners, investors and contributors from across the world. Epic Cash is a very international project with white papers translated into over 30 languages. We are very much a community driven project; this is very evident from our content and the amount of translations in our white papers and in our social media content. We are constantly working on improving our usability, security and privacy, as well as getting our message and philosophy out into the world to achieve mass adoption. We have a lot of exciting plans for our project, the plan is to make Epic Cash into something that is More than Money. You can tell I am the Marketing guy since my message is less about the actual tech and more about the usability and use cases for Epic Cash, I think our Team and Community have a great mix of technical, practical, social and fiscal experiences. Since we opened our YouTube channels content for community submissions, we have seen our content translated into Spanish, French, German, Polish, Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, and other languages Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash Our future development roadmap will be published soon and includes 4 tracks: Usability Mining Core Protocol Ecosystem Development Core Protocol Epic Server 2.9.0 — this release improves the difficulty adjustment and is aimed at making block emission closer to the target 60 seconds, particularly reducing the incidence of extremely short and long blocks — Status: In Development (Testing) Anticipated Release: June 2020 Epic Server 3.0.0 — this completes the rebase to Grin 3.0.0 and serves as the prerequisite to some important functional building blocks for the future of the ecosystem. Specifically, sending via Tor (which eliminates the need to open ports), proof of payment (useful for certain dex applications e.g. Bisq), and our native mobile app. Status: In Development (Testing) Anticipated Release: Fall 2020 Non-Interactive Transactions — this will enhance usability by enabling “fire and forget” send-to-address functionality that users are accustomed to from most cryptocurrencies. Status: Drawing Board Anticipated Release: n/a Scaling Options — when blocks start becoming full, how will we increase capacity? Two obvious options are increasing the block size, as well as a Lightning Network-style Layer 2 structure. We have been seeing an increase in interest from South America, China, Russia, Japan, Italy, and the Philippines. We are working on targeting more countries. We truly aim to be a decentralized project that is open to everyone worldwide. CryptoDiffer team Great, thank you for your answers, we now can move to community questions part! Cryptodiffer Community You have 3 mining algorithms, the question is: how do they not compete with each other? Is there any benefit of mining on the GPU and CPU if someone is mining on the ASIC? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash The block selection is deterministic, so that every 100 blocks, 60% are for RandomX (CPU), 38% for ProgPow (GPU), and 2% for Cuckoo (ASIC) — the policy is flexible so that we can have as many algorithms with any percentages we want. The goal is to make the most decentralized and resilient network possible, and with that in mind we are excited to work on enabling tablets and cell phones to mine, since that opens it up to millions of people that otherwise can’t take part. Cryptodiffer Community To Run a project smoothly, Funding is very important, From where does the Funding/revenue come from? Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash Yes, early on this was realized and in order to scale a project funds are indeed needed. Epic Cash did not start with any funding and no ICO and was organically genesis mined with no pre-mine. Epic cash is also a nonprofit community driven project similar to Monero. There is no profit-driven entity in the picture. To overcome the revenue issue Epic Cash setup a development fund tax that decreases 1% every year until 2028 when Epic Cash reaches singularity with Bitcoin emissions. Currently it is at 7.77%. This will help support the scaling of the project. Cryptodiffer Community Hi! In your experience working also with MONERO can you please clarify which are those identified problems that EPIC CASH aims to develop and resolve? What’s the main advantage that EPIC CASH has over MONERO? Thank you! Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash First, I must admit that I am still a huge fan and HODLer of Monero. That said: ✅ our blockchain is MUCH lighter than Monero’s ✅ our transaction processing speed is much faster ✅ our address-less blockchain is more private ✅ Epic Cash can be mined with CPU (RandomX) GPU (ProgPow) and Cuckoo, whereas Monero migrated to RandomX and currently only mineable with CPU Cryptodiffer Community
the feature ‘Cut Through’ deletes old data, how is it decided which data will be deletes, and what are the consequences of it for the platform and therefore the users?
On your website I see links to download Epic wallet and mining software for Linux,Windows and MacOs, I am a user of android, is there a version for me, or does it have a release date?
Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash
This is one of the most exciting features of Mimblewimble, which is its extraordinary ability to compress blockchain data. In Bitcoin, the entire history of a coin must be replayed every time it is spent, and comprehensive details are permanently stored in the blockchain. Epic discards spent transaction inputs and consolidates outputs, storing neither addresses or amounts, only a tiny kernel to allow sender and receiver to prove their transaction.
The Vitex mobile app is great for today, and we have a native mobile app for iOS and Android in the works as well.
Cryptodiffer Community $EPIC Have total Supply of 21,000,000 EPIC , is there any burning plan? Or Buyback program to maintain $EPIC price in the future? Who is Epic Biggest competitors? And what’s makes epic better than competitors? Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash We respect the older generation coins like Bitcoin. But we have learned that the supply economics of Bitcoin is very sound. Until today we can witness how the Bitcoin is being adopted institutionally and by retail. We match the 21 million BTC supply economics because it is an inelastic fixed model which makes the long-term economics very sound. To have an elastic model of burning tokens or printing tokens will not have a solid economic future. Take for example the USD which is an inflating supply. In terms of competitors we look at everyone in crypto with respect and also learn from everyone. If we had to compare to other Mimblewimble tech coins, Grin is an inelastic forever inflating supply which in the long term is not sound economics. Beam however is an inelastic model but is formed as a corporation. The fair distribution is not there because of the permanent revenue model setup for them. Epic Cash a non-profit development tax fund model for scaling purposes that will disappear by 2028’s singularity. Cryptodiffer Community What your plans in place for global expansion, are you focusing on only market at this time? Or focus on building and developing or getting customers and users, or partnerships? Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash Since we are a community project, we have many developers, in addition to the core team. Our plans for Global expansion are simple — we have advocates in different regions addressing their audiences in their native languages. We are growing organically, by explaining our ideology and usability. The idea is to grow beyond needing a fiat bridge for crypto use, but to rather replace fiat with our borderless, private and fungible crypto so people can use it to get goods and services without using banks. We are not limiting ourselves to one particular demographic — Epic Cash is a valid solution for the gamers, investors, techie and non techie people, and the unbanked. Cryptodiffer Community EPIC confidential coin! Did you have any problems with the regulators? And there will be no problems with listing on centralized exchanges? Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash In terms of structure, we are carefully set up to minimize these concerns. Without a company or investors in the picture, and having raised no funds, there is little scope to attack in terms of securities laws. Bitcoin and Ethereum are widely acknowledged as acceptable, and we follow in their well-established footprints in that respect. Centralized exchanges already trade other privacy coins, so we don’t see this as much of an issue either. In general, decentralized p2p exchange options are more interesting than today’s centralized platforms. They are more censorship resistant, secure, and privacy-protecting. As the technology gets better, they should continue to gain market share and that’s why we’re proud to be partnered with Vitex, whose exchange and mobile app work very well. Cryptodiffer Community What are the main utility and real-life usage of the #EPIC As an investor, why should we invest in the #EPIC project as a long-term investment? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash Because our blockchain is so light (only 1.16gb currently, and grows very slowly) it is naturally well suited to become a decentralized mobile money standard because people can run a full node on their phone, guaranteeing the security of their funds. Scalability in Bitcoin requires complicated and compromised workarounds such as Lightning Network and light clients, and these problems are solved in Epic. With our forthcoming Mobile Mining app, hundreds of millions of cell phones and tablets will be able to easily join the network. People can quickly and cheaply send money to one another, fulfilling the long-envisioned promise of P2P electronic cash. As an investor, it’s important to ask a few key questions. Bitcoin Standard tokenomics of disinflation and a fixed supply are well proven over a decade now. We follow this model exactly, with a permanently synchronized supply from 2028, and 4 emission halvings from now until then, with our first one in about two weeks. Beyond that, we can apply some simple logical tests. What is more valuable, money that can only be used in some cases (censorable Bitcoin based on a lack of fungibility) or money that can be used universally? (fungible Epic based on always-on privacy by default). Epic is also poised to be a more decentralized and therefore resilient network because of wider participation in mining. Epic is designed to be Bitcoin++ Privacy, Fungibility, Scalability Cryptodiffer Community Q1. What are advantages for choosing three mining algorithms RandomX+, ProgPow and CuckAToo31+ ? Q2. Beam and Grin use MimbleWimble protocol, so what are difference for Epic? All of you will be friends for partners or competitors? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash RandomX and ProgPow are designed to use the entirety of a CPU / GPU’s unique processing capabilities in a way that other types of hardware don’t work as well. You can run RandomX on a GPU but it doesn’t work nearly as well as a much cheaper CPU, for example. Cuckoo is a “memory hard” algorithm that widens the range of companies that can produce the hardware. Grin and Beam are great projects and we’ve learned a lot from them. We inherited our first codebase from Grin’s excellent Rust design, which is a better language for community participation than C++ that Beam currently uses. Functionally, Mimblewimble is similar across the 3 coins, with standard Confidential Transactions, CoinJoin, Dandelion++, Schnorr Signatures and other advanced features. Grin is primarily ASIC-targeted, Beam is GPU-targeted, and Epic is multi-hardware. The biggest differences though are in tokenomics and project structure. Grin has permanent inflation of 60 coins per block with no halvings, which means steady erosion of value over time due to new supply pressure. It also lacks a steady funding model, making future development in jeopardy, particularly as the per coin price falls. Beam has a for-profit model with heavy early inflation and a high developer tax. Epic builds on the strengths of these earlier mimblewimble projects and addresses the parts that could be improved. Cryptodiffer Community Some privacy coin has scalability issues! How Epic cash will solve scalability issues? Why you choose randomX consensus algorithem? Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash Fungibility means that you can’t distinguish one unit of currency from another, in example Gold. Fungibility has recently become a hot issue as people have been noticing Bitcoins being locked up by exchanges which may of had a nefarious history which are called Tainted Coins. In example coins that have been involved in a hack, darknet market transactions, or even processing coin through a mixer. Today we can already see freshly mined Bitcoins being sold at a premium price to avoid the fungibility problem Bitcoin carries today. Bitcoin can be tracked by chainalysis and is not a fungible cryptocurrency. One of the features that Epic has is privacy with added fungibility, because of Mimblewimble technology, Epic has no addresses recorded and therefore nothing can be tracked by chainalysis. Below I provide a link of an example of what the lack of fungibility is resulting in today with Bitcoin. One of the reasons why we chose the Random X algo. is because of the easy barrier of entry and also to further decentralize the mining. Random X algo can be mined on old computers or laptops. We also have 2 other algos Progpow (GPU), and Cuckoo (ASIC) to create a wider decentralization of mining methods for Epic. Cryptodiffer Community I’m a newbie in crypto and blockchain so how will Epic Cash team target and educate people who don’t know about blockchain and crypto? What is the uniqueness of Epic Cash that cannot be found in other project that´s been released so far ? Yoga Dude Pr&Marketing at Epic Cash Actually, while we have our white paper translated into over 30 languages, we are more focused on explaining our uses and advantages rather than cold specs. Our tech is solid, but we not get hung up on pure tech talk which most casual users do not need to or care to understand. As long as our fundamentals and tech are secure and user friendly our primary goal is to educate about use cases and market potential. The uniqueness of Epic Cash is its amalgamation of “whats good” in other cryptos. We use Mimblewimble for privacy and anonymity. Our blockchain is much lighter than our competitors. We are the only Mimblewimble crypto to use a unique cocktail of mining algorithms allowing to be mined by casual miners with gaming rigs and laptops, while remaining friendly to GPU and CPU farmers. The “uniqueness” is learning from the mistakes of those who came before us, we evolved and learned, which is why our privacy is better, we are faster, we are fungible, we offer diverse mining and so on. We are the best blend — thats powerful and unique Cryptodiffer Community Can you share EPIC’s vision for decentralized finance (DEFI)? What features do EPIC have to support DEFI? Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash We view Epic as ideally suited to be the decentralized digital reserve asset of the new Private Internet of Money that’s emerging. At a technology level, atomic swaps can be created to build liquidity bridges so that wrapped Epic tokens (like WBTC, WETH) can trade on other networks as ERC20, BEP2, NEP5, VIP180, Algorand and so on. There is more Bitcoin value locked on Ethereum than in Lightning Network, so we will similarly integrate Epic so that it can trade on networks such as Uniswap, Kyber, and so on. Longer term, if there is market demand for it, thanks to Scriptless Script functionality our blockchain has, we can build “Confidential Assets” (which Raven, Tari, and Beam are all also working on) that enable people to create tokenized assets in a private way. Cryptodiffer Community If you could choose one celebrity to promote Epic-cash, who that would be? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash I am a firm believer that the strength of the project lies in allowing community members to become their own celebrities, if their content is good enough the community will propel them to celebrity status. Organic celebrities with small but loyal following are vastly more beneficial than big name professional shills with inflated but non caring audiences. I remember the early days of Apple when an enthusiastic dude named Guy Kawasaki became Apple Evangelist, he was literally going around stores that sold Apple and visited user groups and Evangelized his belief in Apple. This guy became a Legend and helped Apple become what it is today. Epic Cash will have its OWN Celebrities Cryptodiffer Community How does $EPIC solve scalability of transactions? Current blockchains face issues with scalability a lot, how does $EPIC creates a solution to it? Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash Epic Cash is utilizing Mimblewimble technology. Besides the privacy & fungibility aspect of the tech. There is the scalability features of it. It is implemented into Epic by transaction cut-through. Which means it allows nodes to remove all intermediate transactions, thus significantly reducing the blockchain size without affecting its validation. Mimblewimble also does not use addresses like a BTC address, and amount of transactions are also not recorded. One problem Monero and Bitcoin are facing now is scalability. It is evident today that data is getting more expensive and that will be a problem in the long run for those coins. Epic is 90% lighter and more scalable compared to Monero and Bitcoin. Cryptodiffer Community what are the ways that Epic Cash generates profits/revenue to maintain your project and what is its revenue model ? How can it make benefit win-win to both invester and your project ? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash There is a block subsidy of 7.77% that declines 1.11% per year until 0, where it stays after that. As a nonprofit community effort, this extremely modest amount goes much further than in other projects, which often take 20, 30, even 50+ % of the coin supply. We believe that this ongoing funding model best aligns the long term incentives for all participants and balances the compromises between the ends of the centralized/decentralized spectrum of choices that any project must make. Cryptodiffer Community Q1 : What are your major goals to archive in the next 3–4 years? Q2 : What are your plans to expand and gain more adoption? Yoga Dude Pr&Marketing at Epic Cash Max already talked about our technical plans and goals in his roadmap. Allow me to talk more about the non technical 😁 We are aiming for broader reach in the non technical more mainstream community — this is a big challenge but we believe it is doable. By offering simpler ways to mine Epic Cash (with smart phones for example), and by doing more education we will achieve the holy grail of crypto — moving past the fiat bridges and getting Epic Cash to be accepted as means of payment for goods and services. We will accomplish this by working with regional advocacy groups, community interaction, off-line promotional activities and diverse social media targeting. Cryptodiffer Community It seems to me that EpicCash will have its first Halving, right? Why a halving so soon? Is a mobile version feasible? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash Our supply emission catches up to that of Bitcoin’s first 19 years after 8 years in Epic, so that requires more frequent halvings. Today’s block emission is 16, next up are 8, 4, 2, and then finally 0.15625. After that, the supply of Epic and that of BTC stay synchronized until maxing out at 21m coins in 2140. Today we have a mobile wallet through the Vitex app, a native mobile wallet coming, and are working on mobile mining. Cryptodiffer Community What markets will you add after that? Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash Well, we are aiming to have ALL markets Epic Cash in its final iteration will be usable by everyone everywhere regardless of their technical expertise. We are not limiting ourselves to the technocrats, one of our main goals is to help the billions of unbanked. We want everyone to be able to mine, buy, and most of all USE Epic Cash — gamers, farmers, soccer moms, students, retirees, everyone really — even bankers (well once we defeat the banking industry) We will continue building on the multilingual diversity of our global community adding support and advocacy groups in more countries in more languages. Epic Cash is More than Money and its for Everyone. Cryptodiffer Community Almost, all cryptocurrencies are decentralized & no-one knows who owns that cryptocurrencies ! then also, why Privacy is needed? hats the advantages of Private coins? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash With a public transparent blockchain such as Bitcoin, you are permanently posting a detailed history of your money movements open for anyone to see (not just legitimate authorities, either!) — It would be considered crazy to post your credit card or bank statements to Twitter, but that’s what is happening every time you send a transaction that is not private. This excellent video from community contributor Spencer Lambert https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0blbfmvCq\_4 explains better than I can. Privacy is not just for criminals, it’s for everyone. Do you want your landlord to increase the rent when he sees that you get a raise? Your insurance company to raise your healthcare costs because they see you buying too much ice cream? If you’re a business, do you want your employees to see how much money their coworkers make? Do you want your competitors to trace your supplier and customer relationships? Of course not. By privacy being default for everyone, cryptocurrency can be used in a much wider range of situations without unacceptable compromises. Cryptodiffer Community What are the main utility and real-life usage of the #EPIC As an investor, why should we invest in the #EPIC project as a long-term investment? Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash Epic Cash can be used as a Private and Fungible store of value, medium of exchange, and unit of account. As Epic Cash grows and becomes adopted it can be compared to how Bitcoin and Monero is used and adopted as well. As Epic is adopted by the masses, it can be accepted as a medium of exchange for store owners and as fungible payments without the worry of having money that is tainted. Epic Cash as a store of value may be a good long term aspect of investment to consider. Epic Cash carries an inelastic fixed supply economic model of 21 million coins. There will be 5 halvings which this month of June will be our first halving of epic. From a block reward of 16 Epic reduced to 8. If we look at BTC’s price action and history of their halvings it has been proven and show that there has been an increase in value due to the scarcity and from halvings a reduction of # of BTC’s mined per block. An inelastic supply model like Bitcoin provides proof of the circulating supply compared to the total supply by the history of it’s Price action which is evident in long term charts since the birth of Bitcoin. EPIC Plans to have 5 halvings before the year 2028 to match the emissions of Bitcoin which we call the singularity event. Below is a chart displaying our halvings model approaching singularity. Once bitcoin and cryptocurrency becomes adopted mainstream, the fungibility problem will be more noticed by the general public. Privacy coins and the features of fungibility/scalability will most likely be sought over. Right now a majority of people believe that all cryptocurrency is fungible. However, that is not true. We can already see Chainalysis confirming that they can trace and track and even for other well-known privacy coins today such as Z-Cash. Cryptodiffer Community
You aim to reach support from a global community, what are your plans to get spanish speakers involved into Epic Cash? And emerging markets like the african
How am I secure I won’t be affected by receiving tainted money?
Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash Native speakers from our community are working to raise awareness in key markets such as mining in Argentina and Venezuela for Spanish (Roberto Navarro called Epic “the holy grail of cryptocurrency” and Ethiopia and certain North African countries that have the lowest electricity costs in the world. Remittances between USA and Latin American countries are expensive and slow, so Epic is also perfect for people to send money back home as well. Cryptodiffer Community Do EPICs in 2020 focus more on research and coding, or on sales and implementation? Yoga Dude PR&Marketing at Epic Cash We will definitely continue to work on research and coding, with emphasis on improved accessibility (especially via smartphones) usability, security and privacy. In terms of financial infrastructure will continuing to add exchanges both KYC and non KYC. Big part of our plans is in ongoing Marketing and PR outreach. The idea is to make Epic Cash a viral sensation of sorts. If we can get Epic Cash adopters to spread the word and tell their family, coworkers and friends about Epic Cash — there will be no stopping us and to help that happen we have a growing army of content creators, and supporters. Everyone with skin in the game gets the benefit of advancing the cause. Folks also, this isn’t an answer to the question but an example of a real-world Epic Cash content — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XtAVEqKGgqY a challenge from one of our content creators to beat his 21 pull ups and get 100 epics! This has not been claimed yet — people need to step up 🙂 and to help that I will match another 100 Epic Cash to the first person to beat this Cryptodiffer Community I was watching some videos explaining how to send and receive transactions in EpicCash, which consists of ports and sending links, my question is why this is so, which, for now, looks complex? Let’s talk about the economic model, can EpicCash comply with the concept of value reserve? Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash In V3, which is coming later this summer, Epic can be sent over Tor, which eliminates this issue of port opening, even though using tools like ngrok.io, it’s not necessarily as painful as directly configuring the router ports. Early Lightning Network had this issue as well and it’s something we have a plan to address via research into non-interactive transactions. “Fire and Forget” payments to an address, as people are used to in Bitcoin, is coming to Epic and we’re excited to develop functionality that other advanced mimblewimble coins don’t yet have. We are committed to constant improvement in usability and utility, to make our money system the ease of use leader. We are involved in the project (anyone can join the Freeman Family) because we believe that simply by choosing to use a form of money that better aligns with our ideals, that we can make a positive change in the world. Some of my thoughts about how I got involved are here: https://medium.com/epic-cash/the-freeman-family-e3b9c3b3f166 Max Freeman Project Lead at Epic Cash Huge thanks to our friends Maks and Vladyslav, we welcome everyone to come say hi at one of our friendly communities. It is extremely early in this journey, our market cap is only 0.5m right now, whereas the 3 other mimblewimble coins are at $20m, $30m and $100m respectively. Epic is a historic opportunity to follow in the footsteps of legends such as Bitcoin and Monero, and we hope to become the first Top 5 privacy coin project. Xenolink Advisor at Epic Cash Would like to Thank the Cryptodiffer Team and the Cryptodiffer community for hosting us and also engaging with us to learn more about Epic. Introduction to Bitterfly: Butterfly Matrix Entropy Weight Consensus Algorithm
When Bitcoin launched 11 years ago, Satoshi Nakamoto had the vision of giving people power over their money. His vision lives on through BTC. However, the Bitcoin network has a few flaws. One of those flaws is the Proof of Work mechanism. Mining Bitcoin requires a huge amount of resources that are out of reach for most ordinary people. The result is that the BTC network is increasingly being placed in centralized control. The Bitterfly project hopes to change that using a revolutionary consensus mechanism called the Buttery that will be used on the Bitterfly blockchain. About Bitterfly Bitterfly wants to continue the vision that Nakamoto had for Bitcoin. The goal is to give power back to the people and place them in control of their finances. To do this, the Bitterfly team is working on three main areas that require improvement: · The consensus mechanism · The blockchain performance · Community Governance The Consensus Mechanism To improve the consensus mechanism, the team behind Bitterfly has created the Butterfly algorithm that they will add to the PoW mechanism. Not only can it ensures that the hash rate is obtained fairly, it ensures that the hash rate of the whole network is enhanced via the butterfly effect. Performance In terms of performance, the Bitterfly blockchain has been upgraded to have a confirmed commercial speed of 5000TPS. Bitterfly is designed as a Blockchain As a Service open-source platform, which can be used in different applications. Bitterfly will support different types of computing services that include cloud servers. As a result, it will utilize idle server resources to boost the hash rate support for the network. Community Governance When it comes to community Governance, Bitterfly plans to introduce a node competition mechanism that will release 210 nodes over time to enhance the butterfly effect. First, they will introduce the nodes via the Butterfly matrix network. Later, they will do so via a fair elimination process. The goal is to ensure that the nodes contribute to the success of Bitterfly. The Encryption Algorithm Encryption and decryption of data are at the core of the operation of any blockchain. It helps to guarantee the security of the whole blockchain. Only a corresponding private key can unlock data encrypted using a public key. In most blockchains, the Hash Function and the Asymmetric Key Encryption Algorithm are used to encrypt and decrypt data. For the Hush Function, the main algorithms used are SHA and MD5.Bitterfly uses the SHA256 algorithm for encryption and RSA, DSA, and Elliptic curve algorithms for decryption. For the verification phase, Bitterfly developed the DFLYSChnorr, which is based on the SCHNOOR algorithm. Consensus Algorithm The consensus mechanism is used in the blockchain to ensure that each transaction is accurate. Bitterfly plans to operate within the enterprise space, which requires comprehensive and heterogeneous systems that are integrated with various communication protocols. To deal with the challenges that might arise, Bitterfly developed a two-layer consensus algorithm for the PoW mechanism called the PBFT algorithm. Here is how the Bitterfly algorithm works: · The network Structure Bitterfly is designed as an internet payment and application protocol that is based on embracing the digital economy. It can facilitate value storage as well as the decentralized exchange of digital assets, payments, as well as clearing functions. Within Bitterfly, everyone can participate in productively. It will place a huge demand on Bitterfly. The network will offer performance guarantees as well as smart contracts. · Bitterfly Consensus Algorithm To meet the goal of decentralization and security, Bittefly wants to become a global computer instead of a P2P information system. Besides satisfying the decentralization and security needs of its users via PoW, the system will also need to perform at a high level. As a result, the team opted to support smart contracts in commercial applications. To deal with the issue of energy consumption, the team came up with the Butterfly algorithm. The algorithm allows the use of PoW as well as other cross-chain methods such as the Layer 2 protocol. Confirmation of transactions is done via verification nodes. Each node is preconfigured with a list of trusted nodes known as the Consensus Achievement List (CAL). The node list can be used to confirm transactions. Once a transaction is confirmed with the local ledger, it is integrated into the transaction candidate set while all illegal ones are discarded. To improve the security of the network, the verification confirmation was raised to 60% unlike in other networks where it is 50% +1. A transaction is officially confirmed once it is confirmed by 80% of the CAL nodes. The process is known as the Last Closed Ledger, which represents the latest changes to the ledger. Within Bitterfly, the identities of those taking part in the confirmation of transactions are known beforehand. AS a result, transactions are faster and the blockchain is more efficient. Butterfly Matrix Entropy Weight Algorithm Entropy is used to measure the level of uncertainty in the system. Bitterfly built a way to establish consensus using multiple factors. In the network, each data set has a corresponding weight. Summary For the past 11 years, Bitcoin has enjoyed tremendous success. The launch of Bitcoin ushered in a new era for humanity. For the first time in history, decentralized money that is outside the control of governments and other central entities is possible. The new type of money gives people the power to control their finances and avoid the harsh effects of inflation caused by the wanton printing of government currency. When a new economic downturn hit the global economy, Bitcoin failed the litmus test. While Bitcoin should have helped to save people’s finances as the money printing began, it seemed to have followed the same trend as the sinking global economy. It revealed that BTC still had numerous weaknesses that need to be corrected. Bitterfly wants to build on what Bitcoin has accomplished and do more with it. The team behind this project is quite optimistic. They believe that they can achieve what Bitcoin has achieved in the past 11 years. Besides that, they believe they can achieve where Bitcoin has failed in those past 11 years. AMD Threadripper 3970x - My adventure so far (Will edit as I go)
I own a gaming community called Unknown Skies gaming (For a little Context) and we are planning a server upgrade. Currently we have a Dell R620 with Dual E5-2690 V2's Running @ 3.3Ghz, has 196GB Ram. The game we host on this rig is called Empyrion Galactic Survival. The reason for the upgrade is currently the server just isnt high end enough to continue supporting our target playerbase of 100 players, and Performance has dipped due to the game being alpha and the devs are not doing much to improve server side efficiency. Back in 7.0 we could host 150 players on this machine, now it struggles with 60... Yeah big change in 2 years. After a lot of research... I can clearly see Intel Xeon Gold 6154 CPUs (2 of them) do not outperform even the R9 3950x according to passmark. The price of these used intel servers is stunningly high on the used market... Dual 18 Core XG 6154 Processors with 128gb ram (Dell R740 I think, feel free to correct me) cost right around 10,000$ USD Used give or take 1000$ or so... And get stomped on by an 800$ Single Socket CPU... Thats new and has a warranty... I get that it doesnt support as much memory... But Dang... So I looked into threadripper... HOLY SHAT!! The 3970x hits 60k+ in passmark... And the ENTIRE system with a custom cooling loop is less than 6 Grand? Thats nuts to me! Amazing Deal! Im sad all my servers and rigs are intel hahahahaha. What we need, What im aiming for, and my thought process - Feel free to leave thoughts and suggestions.. AMD Threadripper 3970x (Because High Per thread throughput matters due to shit code, and more players on a playfield means more cpu usage on that thread, Lots of threads matter as every playfield opens a new PlayfieldServer.exe and is its own instance so the more spread out players are, the more cores you need to spread out workload. 32 cores 64 threads... NICE) Corsair Vengeance LPX 256 GB (8 x 32 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory (Each player uses around 1-3gb ram, 2 on average, goal was 100 Players) ASRock TRX40 TAICHI ATX sTRX4 Motherboard (Thought this was a solid selection given the options I saw) EVGA 1000 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply SHOULD be sufficient with a closed loop water cooler, all SSD's and not requiring a gaming GPU (Plan on a 1050ti / 1050 at most) Case im using is a modified 4U rackmount case with 3x 120mm fans going in the front, radiator behind those. Could NOT find one that I didnt have to modify. Went with El-cheapo option cause imma be drilling it and modding it internally - RosewillServerChassis Server Case Rackmount Case for BitcoinMining4U off ebay I think it will work, and if not I have a file server that would LOVE the home LMAO. So it was well worth the Chance. Water cooling Solution I settled on was a Thermaltake Floe TR4 Edition. I thought about using a Custom Cooling loop, but by the time I priced everything out the way I would do it... It came out to like 500$ ish LMAO. The above cooler From what I can tell should be sufficient, and should fit in the case i chose. Tight fit, but should fit. Im excitedly looking forward to the build :) Anyone have any experience with any of this and care to chime in?
Diamond in the rough forks to Blockcore tech. Solid 10x short term.
Meet x42 Protocol, the feeless blockchain that will allow anyone to host decentralized applications the easy way. X42 Protocol Price $0.01275764 Market Cap $247,173 (May 27, 2020) Explorer: https://explorer.x42.tech/ Website: https://www.x42.tech/ x42 is a decentralized cryptocurrency based on the Blockcore technology designed to be a multi-chain solution for DApps (decentralized applications) that allows for a range that goes anywhere from small indie developed games to large entrepreneurial projects that span dozens of facilities. The main idea behind x42 is to be a scalable, on-chain solution for any developer that wants to launch games and applications in general with minimal initial investment, zero transaction fees and near infinite scalability. The protocol works around a main blockchain which hosts all the x42 coins and three types of nodes. Side blockchains can be created at will by the developers that decide to use the x42 protocol to launch their projects, side blockchains are very flexible and allow for a great deal of customization. The main blockchain of the x42 protocol will have a maximum total of forty-two million coins mined into existence by the year 2030. The coins follow the same rules as most cryptocurrencies, every transaction is final, timestamped and will be registered to the blockchain ledger, blockchain explorers can be used to browse any and all transactions Every project can have its own side blockchain, in which the development team can fully test and experiment on before going live to the store, because of that need all side blockchains have access to individual testnets. FM Interview with developer: The workpaper talks about using Stratis technology - Many say this is soon to be defunct? It does, the current WP is the 1st itteration, we have a 2.0 that will be released when the servers go online. However in Dec 2019, we have switched to Blockcore as Stratis had too many limitations that didn't meet our needs without heavy modifications. We did start with stratis as the basic framework, but we modified all of the code thus far to meet the needs we have. x42 is not stratis, but did start with some of their code. The switch to blockcore is really more of a code thing and not otherwise noticed on the user end. There has been some but not a significant amount of discussion about it. Anyone that does access the new beta will be able to notice the difference as it nolonger will say stratis anywhere. On the user end, some file structures may change with mention of blockcore. Blockcore is a fork of Stratis, however the cool thing is that it isnt its own project. More details: https://www.blockcore.net/ is an open source project started by a group of blockchain developers and engineers to realize a fully integrated platform for building custom blockchains. Blockcore is the foundation for realizing blockchains and includes core functionality to create your own custom blockchain with a lot of tooling supporting your blockchain. So its been 18 months of development? When will we say a mainnet? We are currently in testnet and close to 90% ready. Xservers should be released this year. However we are not working on a timeline for mainnet with dates at the moment. Deadlines produce inferior products. The new wallet (xCore) has passed and is ready, it will work alongside the xServer. The switch to blockcore did require some code changes and we are still working with blockcore to fine tune some issues in their code as well. Security and ease of use for the end user are required. What about use of dapps in beta? We have a few in progress, but there are not many as the parameters can be changing. Although, anyone that can code a dapp in c# could drop it into their app folder and have one right now. There just won't be the user interface on the current wallet or the server support yet. Why did you call it x42? X has always been the universal unknown in mathematics, which can also mean ‘anything.’ X is believed to have come from the arab letter shin (ش), that was initially used by spanish scholars because of their inability to translate certain arabic sounds into the spanish language, so it became a synonym for an unknown thing. From there on it was noticed that the spanish language didn’t have an appropriate sound for the arabic ‘sh.’ As time passed it was adapted into the ‘ck’ sound, which in classic greek is written down with a symbol known as chi (X). 42 is known to Douglas Adams’ The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy readers as the ‘answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything’. We believe that x42 can offer a great answer to most questions plaguing the cryptocurrency space at the moment and in the future. That mix of an unknown and an answer is where our name got its origin. The techy Details: The two main levels of the x42 architecture are: xCore – This is responsible for interacting with the infrastructure and the interface layers in addition to the node policy layers. An x42 xCore full node handles all the APIs and user interfaces. NBitcoin – This is responsible for handling messages between nodes in the Network Layer. It also bridges the gap between various Consensus Layer functions. Higher Transaction Speed: Transaction on the x42 blockchain platform happens almost instantly under 60 seconds. Also, the main x42 blockchain supports around 70 transactions per second. This is nearly 10 times the transactions supported by the Bitcoin blockchain network. Additionally, the good thing is the x42 side blockchains can be edited to hold as many transactions-per-second (TPS) as the developers want. Understanding xCore, xServer, and Wallets xCore – An xCore node is basically a device with software that has the entire x42 blockchain saved and connects the main blockchain to the side blockchains. This node seeds the main and side blockchain to all users and also has all the functionalities of a client node. Client node is any client running a wallet connected to the x42 main blockchain network. As explained in the white-paper, “The xCore can stake coins on the main blockchain, it can also run decentralised applications hosted on xServers all across the network after having it installed on the local machine”. xServer – The x42 blockchain supports several different types of servers. xServer is a special sort of wallet that runs on dedicated hardware facilitates decentralisation of applications (DApps), processing and data storage. xServers are also tasked with other activities on the network like propagating smart contracts and signing transactions. It also allows the server owner (the Gatekeeper) to get paid for hosting diverse applications. Besides, xServers can choose to host the projects launched on any of the non-private side blockchains. Projects that share a considerable part of their revenues with the xServer owners are likely to get hosted quickly and maintained by the same servers for a longer period of time. Before we understand xServer wallets, let’s brief about the Hot Wallet and Cold Wallets. A hot wallet is an online wallet always connected to the internet. This is an instant point-of-contact for receiving and sending payments. The hot wallets receive the staking rewards along with payouts from DApps, side blockchain, smart contracts, and private transactions. A cold wallet is an offline wallet and more secure from the hot wallet as it is less susceptible to online attacks. This wallet holds the collateral for the server. All the server rewards are paid out to the cold storage wallet. Coming to the xServer wallets, these are basically software holding information for both hot and cold storage wallets. The xServer wallets can run on almost any operating system. They can also host and launch decentralised applications (DApps) and generate passive income by DApp hosting. I earned about 4000% more btc with my android tablet than with a $250 ASIC mini rig setup using GekkoScience Newpac USB miners!
Requirements: 1.) Android Device with access to Google Play Store. *I haven't tried yet but you may be able to use tis on Android TV devces as well by sideloading. If anyone has success before I try, let me know! -Note, I did this with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 so its a newer more powerful device. If your android is older, your profts will most likely be less than what I earned but to give a projected range I also tested on my Raspberry Pi 4 running a custom LineageOS rom that doesn't allow the OS to make full use of the Pi's specs and I still got 500 h/s on that with Cloud boost, so about 60% of what my Tab 6 with MUCH Higher Specs does. **Hey guys. Before I get started i just wanted to be clear about one thing. Yes I have seen those scammy posts sharing "miracle" boosts and fixes. I have a hard time believing stuff online anymore. But this is honestly real. Ill attach photos and explain the whole story and process below. Thanks for taking the time to read and feel free to share any thoughts, concerns, tips, etc* So last week I finally got started with my first mini rig type mining build. I started getting into crypto about a year ago and it has taken me a long time to even grasp half of the projects out there but its been fun thus far! Anyways my rig was 2 GekkoScience Newpac USB miners, a Moonlander USB miner to pair with an FPGA i already had mining, a 10 port 60W 3.0 USB hub and 2 usb fans. The Newpacs actually are hashing at a combined 280 g/s which is actually better than their reported max hash rate when overclocked. Pleasant surpise and they are simple!! I just wanted to get a moonlander because my fpga already mines on Odocrypt for DGB and I just wanted to experience Scrypt mining and help build the DGB project. The Newpacs are mining BTC though. After I got everything up and running i checked my payout daily average after 1 week. I averaged .01 a day TOTAL between all three miners with them all perforing ABOVE SPEC!!! I had done research so i knew I wouldnt earn much. More than anything i just wanted to learn. But still. I was kinda surprised in a negative way. Yesterday I actually earned less than .01 Frustrated I went back to scouring the web for new ideas. About a year ago, when II was starting, I saw an app on my iphone called CryptoBrowser that claimed to mine btc on your phone without actually using phone resources using a method of cloud mining. I tried it for a week and quit because I earned like .03 after a ton of use and seemed scammy. Plus my iphone actually would get very hot when doing this so I quit using it as it seemed like a possible scam with all the cryptonight browser mining hacks and malware out there. Anyways I was on my Galaxy Tab S6 and saw that CryptoBrowser released a "PRO" edition for 3.99 on Google Play. I bought it for Sh*ts and giggles and booted it up. It came with what they called "Cloud Boost" Essentially this is a button you press and it multiplys the estimated hashrate that it gives you device by the number shown on the boost button. (With the purchase of PRO you get one free x10 boost. You can purchase additional boosts to use with other android devices but those are actually pretty pricy. Another x10 boost was like $25 if i remember correctly). I played with it for about an hour to see if it actually worked like it said it would this time. To my surprise, as i was browsing, my device didnt increase in temperature AT ALL!!!!! I checked my tast manager to confirm and it was indeed true, my memory and usage barely went up. it was giving me an estimated range of 80-105 on the hashrate. Once i pushed the x10 boost button, that went to 800-1150 h/s. I switched my screen to not go to sleep, plugged it to the charge and let it run on the browser page, hashing. When you push the boost button, it runs for 3 hours at the boosted speeds. After that it goes back to normal but if you press the button again, it boosts everything again. There is no limit to how many times you use it. After checking what I earned after 24 hours, I HAD MADE .40 in BTC!!!!! I JUST EARNED OVER 4000% MORE THAN MY $280 MINING RIG EARNED ME!!!! I was blown away. Maybe this was a fluke? I did it again next day. Every 3 hours or so I would push the button again but thats all. Sure enough, .35 that day. Also, it realy BTC. I requested a payout and although it took like 12 hours for them to send me an email stating they had just sent it, I actually did recieve the state amount of BTC within 24 hours in my personal wallet. The fees to send are SUPER LOW!. Like .01 Below I will list the steps I took, along with an explanation of thier "Mining" process on Androids. Reminder, this ONLY WORKS ON ANDROIDS. Also DO NOT use cryptobrowser on a physcal laptop or desktop. I ran it on an old laptop for three days last year and it fried it. It does actually use your hardware on those platforms to mine and it is not efficnet at all as I suspect they prob steal over half of your power for themselves using the REAL RandomX protocol via browser mining which is EXTREMELY INEFFICIENT DONT TRY IT!! -----How To Do This Yourself: Cryptotab Browser states the program works on Android devices by estimating what it thinks the hashrate would be for your device specs and siimulates what you would mine in a remote server however you still earn that estimated coin amount. It is not a SHA-256 process or coin that they say is mining, rather it is XMR and they swap that and pay it out to you in BTC Bitcoin. However I know damn well my Tab S6 doesnt hash 80-105 h/s on RandomX because I have done it with a moodified XMRig module i ported to Android. I got 5 h/s a sec if I was getting any hashes at all. But thats besides the point as I still was making money. Now, when you press that cloud boost button it immediately boosts that hash rate it estimates by the number on the cloud boost. As stated above, you can purchase more boosts and gift them or use them on extra android devices that you may have. Again, they are pricey so I'm not doing that plus it would just mean that I have another device that I have to leave on and open. The boosts come in x2, x4, x6, x8 and x10 variants. Again, they have unlimited uses. Here is the link to grab yourself CryptoBrowser Pro from CryptoTab. This IS A REFERRAL LINK! This is where I benefit from doing tis tutorial. Like i said, I want to be transparent as this is not a scam but I'm also not doing this out of the love of my heart. Their referral system works in that people that use the donwload the app using your link are your stage 1 referrals. Anytime they are mining, you earn a 15% bonus. So say they mine $.30 one day. You would get paid out an additional $.045 in your own balance (it does not come out of the referred user balance fyi so no worries). Then lets say that referred miner also gets their own referrals. I would get a 10% bonus on whatever THOSE people mine. This goes on and on for like 8 tiers. Each tier the bonus percntage essential halves. So again, I stand to benefit from this but it also is stupid to not make this visible as its WAY CHEAPER, EASIER AND MORE PROFITABLE TO GET BTC USING THIS METHOD THAN IT IS USING ASICS!! THIS EARNS ALMOST AS MUCH BTC AS AN ANTMINER S7 DOES RUNNING 24/7 ONLY WITHOUT THE HUGE ELLECTRICTY BILL AND COSTS!!!!) Thats it. Again, if you have concerns, let me know or if you have suggestions, other tips, etc... mention those as well!!! https://cryptotabbrowser.com/8557319 Links to Picture Proof http://imgur.com/gallery/P13bEsB
Looking for opinions on my New Warriors re-write by a non-fan/non-comic reader
So I'm not a comic reader but the news of the various happenings with in the comic industry tend to peek my dabbling interests of political science and marketing. So when I saw the new "New Warriors" backlash I couldn't get it out of head that night so I laid in bed for the next 3 hours just working out what could make the characters more interesting. I recognize that by not being a comic reader beyond Dilbert I'm probably making a lot of mistakes but I'm honestly curious as to what actual comic readers would think of my changes. I'm leaving actual character designs to far more talented people though. So to start off with "Screentime" I came up with the idea that instead of some "Internet Gas" bullshit that instead he would have a large optical data storage crystal shatter over his head and embed thousands of various sized shards of the nanocrystals that make up one of these storage crystals. Idea came from this Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/5D_optical_data_storage Now where I take it and twist it from reality is that all of these shards pickup various electromagnetic waves like Wi-Fi, Radio, Cell towers, etc... and being embedded in his brain means that he is still connected to the internet 24/7 unless he is in a Faraday Cage. Now as for his character I wanted to depict a teen that is both overwhelmed by the amount of information he now has sometime unwillingly cascading through his head kind of like ADD and the fact that he can find out everyone’s secrets both good and bad. Every text, every camera, every file server, if it has a electronic connection of some sort even a very low powered wireless one if he is in range he can access it regardless of passwords or firewalls. I wanted to highlight the he would make his own personal code of conduct not to speak of any of the things he now knows unless he is specifically working on solving a particular crime. So if he is searching for a murder and finds out that the murders best friend is a rapist he wouldn't tell anyone of this finding as its beyond the scope of his search. At times I would show that the weight of basically trusting himself not to violate everyone's privacy unwarranted is a unspeakable burden for a teenager. However as a teenager he would find silver linings to his power, like literally unlimited porn of every type imaginable, watching movies right off of the studios hard drives, mining bitcoin in his sleep, most importantly for his combat ability being able to access a vast library of 3D printed weapon designs and the machines to produce these weapons thus meaning that he is armed with the latest and greatest small arms. As I mentioned before if Screentime is in a Faraday Cage he loses his internet connection this can be used to give him a break from the overwhelming information he is constantly exposed to help him sleep or by a villain trying to remove his intelligence gathering ability. The only other thing that can block his reception is his Team mate Deadzone's shields. So next up on my rewrite hit parade is Snowflake and the now renamed Deadzone. Power wise Deadzone is the by far the most changed. Where before he could only raise shields if someone he cared for was in danger, which is the single biggest load of shit ever. Now he can raise various sized shields and shield bubbles at will. The thing about his shields is that they are all 3D shields meaning that while they are however tall and wide as Deadzone needs they are all 1 inch thick. Within these shields is a perfect void: No matter and no energy within. This means that say a Cyclops like laser blast is absorbed by this void until you get to a point where the interior of the shield is either full of energy or matter at which point the shield should be deactivated. However Deadzone can run the risk of holding the shield longer and suddenly the shield becomes an explosive as this void is now so full of energy or matter that only Deadzones powers are holding them together. This has its tactical uses but it can be hard to judge as if he releases the shield to soon or too fast then he can create a vacuum bomb inadvertently. This requires an extreme amount of focus if Deadzone is to avoid collateral damage and if he makes a shield too big for him to hold and/or it doesn't receive enough damage to fill up the void completely before he drops it he can easily do more harm than good. I should also note that while I mostly stayed away from speaking on the art design because I don't have enough skill to come up with a better original design than spandex suits. Deadzone and his powers are no longer pink. He looks the typical African-American athlete and his shields are pitch black due to their void like nature. Snowflake is actually more or less unchanged as far as powers go being your typical cryokinetic. The biggest change I would make is remove her woke pro-noun nonsense as that doesn't add anything to the character. Now the biggest change to both of these characters is their relationship to each other and how it effects how they interact with the rest of the world. So in some of the art that has been posted made them look to be far more than just brother and sister and seeing that they otherwise have relatively little less to make them standout as characters I decided to take that implied relationship and go straight for the teeth. So yes they are in a fully active incestuous relationship, this massive dark secret has made them comparatively insular especially when it comes to making friends however its also given them a different perspective on life. They see the penalty for being underaged superheroes as a comparative slap on the wrist compared to their main “crime” and thus show a willingness to engage in their work that is matched by few others. They are more emphatic then most of the other team members save for Screentime but that is because he probably already knows why someone is doing or acting the way they are. They are not woke however they simply accept people as they are and move on, not trying to draw attention lest that attention get turned on them and their secret gets out. This is their single greatest fear beyond loosing one another. The last character that I managed to rewrite is Trailblazer. She remains the leader and the “mother” of the group much as she had done in her foster home. She volunteers a lot both to help others and to hide the crippling depression of taking on so many burdens. This however has still reared it ugly head in her eating habits leading to her heavy build. After she gets sucked into the superhero role she one night hears a endless chanting coming from a box of things she had left from her parents among which is her grandfather's backpack. This backpack is a pocket dimension but beyond that time within the backpack can slow down greatly as much as 1000 years inside the backpack can pass for every second in the real world if the user so wishes it. Trailblazer sticks her head inside this backpack and falls in and meets a ancient Native American warrior ancestor this is the spirit that gives the backpack its power. He offers to train her inside the backpack much like Goku in DragonballZ using the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to do a years worth of training in only a day. Trailblazer takes him up on his offer and for the next 5 years or 5 hours in reality she is put through a grueling training regimen that turns the overweight teenager into a toned though still “thic” warrior. She is gifted a Spirit Tomahawk to serve as her permanent weapon that is always at her side as a symbol of completing her training and the new connection that she has with her ancestors. Though armed with this Tomahawk she still can receive or summon weapons from her backpack though her control of this ability right now is limited to simple melee weapons or bows and arrows unless she has time to sit down and focus on the backpack completely to summon a more complex object like a gun and its ammo. B-Negitive is where I finally threw in the towel. I have no idea who this Michael Morbius is and I couldn't see of any redeeming character trait or feature to draw from. Maybe if he was more human I could do a teenage Blade but I don't know how as a upstart writer to pull that off from the current state without just scraping the character completely. I'm looking for opinions and feedback as I have little else to do while on shelter-in-place and when I posted this in Marvel I got nothing after 5 days, I'm really curious to see if I was on to something.
sorry if this is a downer post, but I literally had to find and join this sub-reddit just to be able to get some shit off my chest from today and life as a whole right at the moment... thank you for having this Reddit exist, first and foremost, because life sucks for me lately, in general, and for a good number of years, and I am having one hell of a bad day and just need to get this shit off my chest before I have a meltdown. so thank you for whomever created this sub-reddit. anywho... hey, how's it going, my name is Mike IRL, but I just go by the name High Voltage online, I am a furry, and to use a short and to the point name everyone calls me anymore, I'm just gonna say Hey, I'm volt. anyways... I'm an autistic furry, I love life...usually...but as of these last handful of years, life has just been one hell of a suck fest. I am a computer geek, self taught, by nature, passion, and habit, I love technology, but the more I learn, the more I realize Murphy is a vindictive bitch. Murphy in this case is Murphy's law, and me and that little shithead have a love hate relationship... I love technology, he loves to make technology hate my guts, and the more I learn about shit, the more I can tell just how much shit goes wrong in ways that are uncommon for me, and for general life. I have friends in the tech industry, that all unanimously agree, and I quote them all here "how the FUCK do you have so many things go wrong?!" this includes a friend who works for dell as a storage expert, a friend that's a tech support call center representative, and a plethora more friends that are just over all tech heads. one point I need to get off my chest. another thing, is that for the life of me, for the last 10 years since graduation from high school, nothing I do is allowing me to get my ass in a tech job, no amount of experience personally taught, no amount of tech certifications make any difference, nothings helping and I've had to jump from one dead end job to another, just to be able to even afford to survive, and hell, that's a joke in and of itself, cause I cant even afford to be alive, and live, I am barely scraping by, ever, and am forced to live with my parents because I cant even afford subsidized housing, section 8 or otherwise. per my autism and other issues, I have to take prescriptions just to function in society, which on their own, cost more than I have ever made in a month at any job I've ever had to date, given they are around 8k a month without insurance. on the comment of insurance, I have to use medicaid/medicare just to be able to afford to be alive, which in turn makes me have an income limit per month, so I cant ever make more than about 1 thousand dollars in a month, making my whopping glorious yearly income, four thousand dollars a year less than poverty, which is classified here in my state as 16 thousand dollars a year. usually this does not bother me and I'm able to maintain a fairly positive outlook on life, plus or minus my usual depression...and I don't usually let things bug me, and have made in my opinion, a name for myself as being generous, and donating money whenever I'm able to to those less fortunate than myself, countless times I've helped keep friends of mine online whom I have never actually met, and hold credible for being in the situations they claim to be at face value because I trust people and I'm a compassionate person... I have been told so many times by my parents that I'm too trusting, that I have literally lost count... I have even been scolded by my father once for, and I quote, "your not an entrepreneur, strive for mediocrity!" while a friend of mine was at my house in the basement waiting on me, when my father found out, while I still had my income cap, BEFORE government regulations happened, regulating bitcoin as a taxable asset (I have since gotten out of the bitcoin game for a few years now and it served its purpose while it lasted) but all of these things are normally manageable on their own in stride.... the thing that's finally just caused me to have enough at this point is the fact that I just realized how truly shitty my current discovery is right now.... more on that one in a moment however... the one thing that I have always been proud of is this, the fact that I am self taught for all of my computer experience that I have amassed to date, including but not limited to having to be resourceful on finding good deals, given that I found and paid for myself on my measly income, all of the servers that I have to date at my ownership, all found through scrounging for deals, on Facebook marketplace, and driving literally half the entire state of Ohio one way trip to find a deal for a thing I'm after, I have HAD to be resourceful for everything, because I had nothing for income... this includes having to plan and build my own data server using second hand parts, whenever possible, and I have not had any regrets on that, because it has allowed me to get still working systems for damn good prices... so I have never, until today, regretted that... because it has always been mine, built with pride, pride that I found good deals on things, that still worked, and still had usefulness to someone (me) and gave these devices a second lease on life, for good prices, and it was something I did myself, through sheer determination, patience (something I severely lack, and the entire reason I fish for catfish when me and my folks go fishing), and resourcefulness. welp....honestly, at this point, I don't know what the hell to do now, because out of all of the drives that I have tested so far that this thing uses, after having lost unimaginable quantities of priceless memories that I can never get back, thousands and thousands of dollars in software I cant get back (one of many failures of the storage server, and mistakenly purged gmail emails, leaving zero traces of the software and no ability to discover what it was to try and recover it anymore) and numerous personal memories in the ways of family photos lost among so much more... of all the drives in this system, over half of them now are saying they are IMMINENT failure, and all of them, every single one of them, is either pre-fail or old age, and given that I have always HAD to buy second hand used and abused storage off of ebay, its no surprise that this has become the case.....normally I'd say "oh well, sucks, gonna have to save up and buy new drive replacements again" in the form of more used drives.....but now, the icing on the cake here, and why I'm at my point of typing up this entire post? I am one of the people that lost their jobs due to this whole pandemic....so....I literally have no way what so ever, to even try and replace these drives...and now I am left with an empty feeling in the pit of my stomach, and an epic oncoming depression fit. bonus fun points to the fact that I do my damnedest to never ask for funding help for anything in my life ever, given that its the mindset of "my projects, my fun times, my money, nobody else should /HAVE/ to help me given this is MY fun stuff" and the few times I ever ask anyone for help, everyone always jumps down my throat, friends wise, saying how greedy I am as a person to ever ask for funding help for MY stuff, and "what will I get out of it? nothing? then why the fuck should I want to help YOU if I don't get anything from it?" so I always tend to not WANT to ask for help, EVER, given this is how I get treated when I do, and then the few times that I genuinely feel like I need to, after always having that mindset of being a burden to the world, and a nuisance to my friends, when I finally get up the nerve to fucking do so and make a gofundme out of sheer necessity...out of all of the times I have done so, over the years, I literally can count on one single hand, the number of times anybody has ACTUALLY helped me....and I get it, it does not effect them at all, and its their money, trust me I get it, but when I DO actually need help, I never get it... this is one of those times I need help...and I wont get it, and I truly understand that, especially now with this pandemic and so many people being out of their jobs and or scared of losing their jobs, I understand that, I wouldn't be able to now even if I wanted to anyways, but it just fucking sucks... always going so far out of my way to help others when I'm able to, and then life always being such a fucking bitch like this to me. *sighs heavily* anyways....sorry for the vent, but I fucking needed to bitch and moan somewhat today...god knows I've been forced to try and bottle it up for far too fucking long, because everyone's been tired of my bitching, even though I tend to only do so, to enough of a degree to keep my head afloat as needed. just for shits and giggles, I'll post a link to the hard drive reports, just to share what I am forced to work with because its all I can afford...not that I have any problems with it mind you, if it works, and I can afford it, then that's what I'll take any fucking day of the week, given its a means to an end. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1gK7EGCU9fX9lcC1G4to2ZwbvNA8cBVQM?usp=sharing anyways...as usual, I've made my gofundme, and as usual, I know what to expect...nothing...but whatever. such is life.
The right mining hardware is just part of the story. If you're serious about mining Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, check out our guide to what you need to know cryptocurrency mining. The result: running Bitcoin mining software on those 600 quad-core servers for a year would earn about 0.43 Bitcoin, worth a total return of about $275.08 at current prices on major Bitcoin exchanges.
