Bitcoin - The Currency of the Internet

A community dedicated to Bitcoin, the currency of the Internet. Bitcoin is a distributed, worldwide, decentralized digital money. Bitcoins are issued and managed without any central authority whatsoever: there is no government, company, or bank in charge of Bitcoin. You might be interested in Bitcoin if you like cryptography, distributed peer-to-peer systems, or economics. Moving Money From Hong Kong Bank To Bitcoin?

My friend has family in Hong Kong. The banking situation there is getting quite sketchy. Is it possible to take money from the local banks in Hong Kong and wire it all to a Chinese equivalent to Binance (or whatever works in China) and then just transfer it to the US or something? If there's an instructional videos that are straightforward to do that'd be helpful (note no one there is like a programmer, so no crazy hardware wallet stuff).

Update! Coming Soon A Private Fiat Bank to Bitcoin Customers

Following our conversation from last week:
http://www.reddit.com/Bitcoin/comments/1dmjyg/bitcoin_from_a_banker_prospective_a_serious/
We have decided to offer Private International banking to Bitcoin Customers, Merchants and Traders where they will be provided the following:
1) A private individual or corporate bank account with Online Banking access.
2) The option to receive your own Visa debit card under your account
3) Instant Transfer of funds internally to any other of our Bank account to exchange fiat to Bitcoin and vice versa.
4)Wire funds directly to your own account instead of collective exchange account
5)Wire money out at any time on your schedule and not on the schedule of the Exchange
5)Support of 22 Currencies so you can maintain your funds at your choice of Currency without converting to USD, EUR etc.
We are in the process of working out our terms and fees as we try to keep the fees such as wire in wire out and any maintenance fees to the bare minimum.
we would not use your funds for loans or credit, your money is your money.
Exclusively for Virtual Currencies.
All KYC/AML verification will take place prior to opening your account.
The Goal is to eventually be able to offer you the option to trade Fiat <> Bitcoin instantly the same way your bank converts your USD <> EUR <> JPY today.
We are currently setting it as a subsidiary of our Bank and would like your input at choosing a Name!
If you personally had an account with Bitfloor or Bitcoin-24 Please PM me as we would like to learn and avoid some of their mistakes. Thank you

Would it be possible to introduce fractional reserve banking to Bitcoin to further its usage?

Please only comment on this if you know something about bitcoins or finance. I am interested in learning about both of these topics and how they could relate (if at all).
